pokebirds Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 I find that people dismiss the ( current) smallbird to be as usefull as a mandrake hopping around at night, just for entertainment. it disapoints me about how little people see at how good these little feather balls are at keeping gobblers away from your berries. I mean, im just stuffing my face with drum sticks as i type! i know this is just asking for the devs to just make gobblers to run from smallbirds, but i wanted to raise awareness bout how useful these things are.note on the mandrakes: IWILLEATYOURPUNYFACEIFYOUDON'TSTOPMAKINGTHATNOISE!!!! qwerm Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 actually, another major(though heartless) utility of the small birds at present is a fast track to summoning krampus.Given how the latest hotfix has made forcibly summoning krampus surprisingly difficult, raising, 5-6 smallbirds, and killing them all once hatched seems to put you on the fast track towards a karmic asskicking better than any other source of naughtiness.Though, I have to say, krampus- even in packs, is a rather unthreatening mob i've found when I actually went LOOKING for him, though, like pretty much everyone else, I am looking for a krampus sack.I don't even go through this much meat normally, if at all, I'm normally eating monster kabobs or seeds and berries.
