coolboy00 Posted October 18, 2014 Share Posted October 18, 2014 hey. i've been watching some threads and i can see that many ppl is getting griefed. happend to me once aswell and i dont think its funn. im sure it exist a command to BAN/Kick the player. also when the release is out so everyone can play it wouldnt it be good if u could report ppl for griefing. (u need to record or he jsut need to be reported a serveral times) it would be great. cause im quita sure that everyone is scared from grieiefrs and the release when even more griefers are comming. i hope Klei/we players can find a way to fix the griefers. i think one command exist to kick /banTheNet:Kick(ip)or TheNet:Ban(ip)^^^^^^^^^^ Not sure of these tho.thanks for reading and im sorry for my spelling. There's an obvious sollution.Make new friends or gather existing ones (when they all have a key) and set up passworded games only your friends can join. There will always be griefers and hosts abusing their power, no matter how much you try to "fix" them. The sad truth about any cooperative multiplayer game. And they can be an army of angry Warrior Ghosts And Abigail will be Queen of the Grievers and when you get Grieved you'll turn into a Ghost, then you report it on the forums but all you can say is "OoOOoh! oOh! A Griefer can be someone that messes with someone. A Griever can be that friend that worked so hard to help you out of that dangerous place only to watch you die to the slap of a tentacle. ChadBroChill17 Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 I think a safe mode where players couldn't set fire too or destroy eachothers placed structures plants and such could help as well as a system to tag friendly players so that they could interact with your stuff. Another idea would be options for much larger maps with spread out spawns as well as adding doors with locks to protect your stuff from other players. Right now this game is imbalanced when it comes to pvp. 1 guy canenter a server and burndown everythingh of value and then just leave. Wingy Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 I believe that a true way to deal with/prevent griefers is to create a reputation system, which would allow server hosts to add good or bad points onto a player dependent on their behaviour on the server.This reputation system can be implemented throughout all the servers (possibly recorded on the accounts themselves) and people would be able to see how reputable a person is within a server and take preventative measures. Perhaps a list on the forum can be started by someone to expose griefers encountered (once again for preventative measures). The good thing about a reputation system is that people will be able to see how someone acts throughout many servers.
