The radio's frequency increases, and the sound becomes easier to hear. The sound is obviously a voice, but it is impossible to determine what it is saying.

"Well, this is... new. Everyone, I have a bad feeling about this. Stay alert."

"What is it saying?"

"I'm not sure I want to find out."

The group nervously moved through the darkness, awaiting for the radio to shift in sound. Just when they were about to consider moving in a different direction, the radio increased in frequency. The voice became understandable.

"He's getting closer, we have to do something."

"Everything is going to be fine, Maxwell. Will's on his way here, he'll defeat Bael again, and everything will be good again."

"No, something's wrong. I've lost him. I can't tell where he is anywhere. After he went through the teleporter, he disappeared."

"Excuse me, what?"

"I don't know where he is, but Bael is getting closer and Will is gone. This might end up being a last stand."

"Wait... lost me? Maxwell can't see us.... something is very wrong. Everyone, I think we walked right into a trap and didn't even know it. I don't know where this radio is leading us, but I don't think it's going to be pretty."

"He didn't leave it here. It's the same one from the first world. Jayden's right, though. We have to move forward."

The radio increases in frequency yet again, and the voices become impossible to understand again. But, this time the gargle sounds different. There is only one voice, not 3.

"Oh, for f**k sake. How many messages does this thing have for us?"

Will stops dead in his tracks.

"Jayden, I've dealt with Them. More than I'd like. They won't make any deals where we come out on top. They feed off of misery and anger, and will not hesitate to screw over your life for what may seem like a good thing. I wouldn't make any deals with Them, even if Their deal was to bring back Inigo. Don't forget, though, you'll be rewarded by Maxwell when you get back. It might not be as great as mind control or something, but it'll still make your life better."

The group wanders in nervous silence, waiting for something to happen. Violet kept looking at Jayden. She walks faster to catch up with Joseph, and whispers into his ear.

"I think something's up with Jayden. He might be upset by what the robo-dude said or something."
