"I believe you, Jayden. I just want to reaffirm that you have nothing to worry about. Everyone deserves a chance. There's only one. And, if we destroy it, we won't have to worry about facing another. The material it uses for the strings are too rare to mass produce. He most likely went to restock."

Will applies healing ointment to the bruised area, and the bruise disappears.

"This world's medicine would sell incredibly well back in our world."

"Your world... As in your HQ, or Earth?" Joseph looked around, recalling memories of his youth. He certainly would have been astounded to see all the new beings... And definitely was, the first few days. But after a full year, he saw things a survivor would, only focusing on what would help him survive.

"It is in some other dimension. A place where you guys do not want to go. Humans cannot live there without special magic. Any that try are conformed. They either become what I became, half human, half demon, or they are consumed by the dark power. As some people say, good is not light."

Will turns on the radio, to find it already boasting a high frequency.

"Well, what a bit of luck. The next piece is nearby. Hopefully the machine isn't going towards it."

"It'll set time back in this universe, which will throw you back to where you were when the time here happened. Basically, maybe a few hours before you got taken. Maxwell most likely won't show up again, but if he does, don't accept any deals. Joseph, Violet, you'll think you were sent back to your home before you were taken also, but you'll remember everything up to when we killed Shadowfall, but nothing after."

WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL)

The group fumbles through the darkness, following the signal. Within 2 hours, they find 3 of the 4 remaining pieces. All that is left is the base.

"Alright, I don't know where we're going to be after this. We will most likely end up in the Maxwell's lair, considering this is supposed to be the last challenge."

"What I don't get is why it gave us the piece."

White took out the lever once more.

"If Bael wants this throne so badly, why did his robot give us one of the pieces we needed to continue? It could have just run off with it and we would be stuck here."

"Bael is more about tampering with emotions than ending it quickly, so him trying to get Jayden to defect sounds about right. Well, what matters is that we're almost done with this."

The radio picks up a signal, but the sound is unlike what the others where. It was too low to understand, but it was different from the other signals.

"Odd, but since it is the base, it might be emitting different wavelengths. We should still follow it."

They find the base, enter the layer, get to the throne and Bael isn't there because he's still killing things. So Will get's everyone home and them we all live happily ever after except for White who froze to death in the mountains because she wasn't sent back far enough and then everyone else dies because there's no one left to stop What's-Her-Face.

The End.
