That note... Again? The Lumberjack seemed to take out the note every so often, rereading the words. However, They had never given him a good look at the note. He only managed to catch small words at a time. "Shadow" and "Essence" where two words he was horribly familiar with, two subjects that his dark studies had required him to research. And then... "Cat's Eye". He hadn't the slightest clue on what that could be, and it seemed as if The Lumberjack didn't know, either.

Removing his thoughts from the odd note, Maxwell began wondering why The Scientist had saved The Lumberjack. Now, of course, it was time to wonder if he should keep them together, or split them apart. Splitting them could prove to be a tedious task, as it was possible that Higgsbury would continue his defensiveness. No, it wouldn't be worth it. This was something new, something potentially exciting. And so, Max decided it would be time for an... Appearance. Focusing on the crystal ball, The Puppeteer sent an image of himself to his subjects.

With a puff of cigar smoke, Maxwell, or, an image, appeared before the two survivors. "Say... Looks like you two made some friends." Maxwell controlled this image not by moving himself, but simply by projecting his thoughts into the ball on what the figure should do next. So, The Puppeteer ordered his image to chuckle lightly, and take a quick smoke of his cigar.

Lucy: "Wait! Why do you guys hate this guy?" lucy questioned Wilson and Woodie

(Woodie whispers something to Lucy)

Lucy: " So that's why we're stuck here?"

(whispering again)

Lucy: "Never mind"

Woodie: "You've got the wrong idea if we're friends Maxwell........ we've got no business with you!"

Pulling out a primitive horn constructed out of a beefalo horn, some sticks, 3 bottle caps, and hollowed out acorn to blow in.

Sensing a feeling that his self-constructed trumpet won't work, he blows on it to test it, and it makes a unatural sound, not like a beefalo, and something partially similar to a koalefant. Which, after a few minutes, the ground makes a big "BOOM" !

The ground began to boom harder and harder, until 1 boom, revealed a large furry elephant foot-like hand, then the Manmoth forced its way out of the ground, making a large hole. The Manmoth was called by the Horn trumpt, or "Hrumpet."

The Manmoth stood up and shook the dirt out of it's thick, partially glossy fur. It's little wings flapped with the warmth of the sun as it streched it's massive limbs.

The Manmoth looked down at 2 little men, then it looked at the tall one and then, as if a hound had bitten it, it's tusks went from round and dull, to sharp and hard, its bug-like eyes became a nearly black, darkish red, and its round toes on its feet-like hands, became long and sharp and it started to do a slowish-fast paced walk, as it neared Maxwell, it lifted up it's right arm, and swatted at him with a loud "ErrrrrOOOOWWRRHH!!"

The real Maxwell, the one seated on the throne, widened his eyes in surprise. For The Lumberjack to have tamed such a large beast so quickly, and to be able to order it... It was unheard of. However, Maxwell's mouth widened in a devilish smile. Such a large beast meant a much larger target.

The image glared up at the beast, bored. As the large foot neared the fake Maxwell's head, two large, shadowy claws emerged from the ground on either side of the image and blocked the blow. The Fake Puppeteer moved his gaze to the two survivors. "How rude."

Staring in disbelief, woodie was shocked that the Manmoth couldn't hurt the shadow hands, but his shock was releived then the manmoth got enraged that it was weaker then some dark monster hands. It used all of it's strength and managed to crush the shadow hands under its massive weight. Then it looked at the tall man, and left.
