This is an Rp that can begin on the over world, or the underground. Just remember the RP rule's, and if all character's are occupied, or if you don't know if one is free. Scroll through the posts and see who is who. Just dont post as a character that someone else is.

Don't forget you can make your own character- JUST don't make them like a giant, well, a giant where another roleplayer cannot kill you, or hurt you! That's op, not cool for other's and it makes them dislike you.

pigmen and mobs characters can be made up, JUST don't go to far on them.

Also you can be an animal character, and a human character (You can be a Giant, just don't op like one) that's it, OH  some other things, you cannot make someone do something that kills them, or that they didn't want to do or plan to do, your grammar and other things dont matter- of course the Giant thing and op DO matter.

If you die you can become something else, the laws of physics don't apply in DS, i for example have a plan to become a real Yetifoot, after my characters death. Yes you can do things similar to this, you may even have pets! I know, pretty sweet.

Myths and legends

The Manmoth

If any legend were something to truley discover, it would be that of a cave dwelling mammal, larger then any of the island's giant inhabitants, most consider this the "Legend of Legends" as this beast is said to be friendly, or atleast non-agressive at first sight, the beast is tough, and very hairy, it has the eyes of a moth, and the wings and antenna too. However most say it can be summoned, but the tool to summon it has not been invented or correct in recent endeavors. The biggest challenge of this particular legend is finding the very creature itself, the manmoth is supposedly the only cave dwelling giant and creature not under maxwell's control or any other deity beings, but rather a free spirited creature, thus far the Manmoth is a elegant monster with a history unknown, only the chosen one can tame this giant of giants.

Streagth's: Sheer size, moth frenzy, cave-in, mammoth's stomp, pan flute immunity.

Weakness: None so far

alive-true

Tombstone

Myth's have surronded of graveyards guarded by monster of rock and the dead, those who have set out to prove this myth lies and a mere tale have never been heard of there after, certain people have discovered grave yards with a pleasent atmosphere but also a huge pile of stone's, shaped like body parts of various shapes such as a head, small pebbles that are sharp like teeth. Only the bravest can discover this as a truth or not.

Strength's: Stone body, crystal claws, undeath rock sling.

Weakness: Pickaxe, Woodie's Beaver form.

Desceased

Abyss Worms

Abyss worms are large worms that dwell in the abyss's of the caves, they are hard to find due to their dark green skin, they are like normal, tiny worms, they do not hurt at 1st sight, but no true evidence of their existance is known, it will take determination to find these cave digging behemoths.

Veggie monsters

Tales have been told of monsters that take to the form of items that a survivor drops, if that survivor returns to collect it, it may come back to life and try to eat them instead. These beasts are able to take the form of any item that a survivor uses. They are very strange but natural chameleons.

Many more legends and myths are to be find in the ever amazing world of DS, all it will take, is determined sousl to find them.

Special Machines

The Grandwerk- a special machine that can create a clockwerk version of anything thrown into it.

The cat's eye- a special device used for summoning, and creating more items of dark means.

The conquertron- a giant robot who serve's the one who resurrects him from his ancient slumber in the ruins.

The King- A ancient clockwerk  who controls and create's anything clockwerk, it is unknown if he still functions or who created him.

Blood Moon

Be warned the blood moon is a most dangerous time to be awake as the wildlife will turn into much more horrifying versions of their true self, it can turn anything, even as harmless as a rabbit into a vicious rabid blood thirsty rodent, lycanthropes, mandrakes, red birds, and especially Giants are the most dangerous to be around in a blood moon, take caution for those who have never known of the blood moon.

Corruptive insects

Beware of corruptive insects, they are a menace to all creatures, they have bright vibrant colors that distinct them from other insects in the world of DS whic are RED-BLUE-GREEN-YELLOW beware those colors, but beware one with a bright red shell, eerie black wings and legs, and dark red eyes, for it can mutate and corrupt whatever it bites, it is the Correetle the only one with the power to corrupt its victim, and mutate their victim in a more monstorous version of themself. Beware.

The Giants of Don't Starve

We all know of the giant's of don't starve, but there are some who were the ancestors of the giants as we know them today, who may still be around......

The YetiFoot

The yeti foot is the ancestor of the deer clops, they were not always around to be one of the winter giants. The Yetifoot was a special giant, being able to live in all seasons, it also turns out the Yetifoot is the offspring of bigfoot and the yeti ( the yeti was apparently the mom) The Yetifoot is also friends with a shadow giant, a friendly tree guard, and a bearger. The YetiFoot was also the matriarch of all deer clops, his dissaperence led them to their monstrous behavior.

The Bearger

The Bearger grand Bear is the Grandfather of all beargers, he controlled his children with a father's heart and touch. It was unknown of what happened to the grand Bearger mother or mother of the beargers, but the bearger was known to be friends with the yeti foot, a shadow giant and a friendly tree guard.

The Shadow Beast

The Shadow beast is roughly known as the Shadow Giant, he is the greatest of all shadow monsters, all shadow monsters referred to him, if he were around, they might be non-hostile.

The Pre Chewed Tree Guard Matriarch

the legendary tree guard matriarch, he led the tree guards on a path of protecting and growing saplings into full fledged tree's, his mysterious dissaperence has changed the tree guards into fierce, murderous tree monsters, where he is now is unknown.

There is a stone that prophesies the return of the giant's matriarchs to guide their kin unto a war against a evil ruler, this ruler may be Maxwell.

Ill start off and you CAN encounter other roleplayer's ill start

Woodie swung his lantern around, his one problem with the cave's was the constant spider's, especially the ones with the armored heads and the ones that spit. And then suddenly a cave shaking "ERRRRRRROOOOOWWWRRRRRRHHH!" Woodie took out his umbrella, and held it right above his head, he put his football helmet on. And said in his manliest voice in this predicement "Lucy save me!"

The cave began crashing rocks down and his umbrella surprisingly survived the cavequake well. His lantern was saved too, but then he looked over on the other side of a cave canyon, and he saw a batilisk with a broken wing screeching toward's it's family, until.......a large trunk came out of the darkness, coiled itself around the batilisk, and yanked it back into the dark canyon. The batilisk flew away in horror, screeching and flapping their wing's a mile a second, hoping to not get caught by the large trunk that took their wounded family member.

(I would, but a lot of my characters are fairly far-fetched, probably too much for this thread.

Unless, of course, no one minds if I add one of my Jack Carter-isms?

Anyway, I'm going to try a Maxwell. Brace yourselves.)

Maxwell sighed after another useless attempt at trying to get comfortable on that damn throne. That ungodly chair he sat in always seemed to be too warm, then too cold. His nose had suffered through so many itchy sensations that he was almost used to it. And then, that music... Constantly pestering him. But then, that was also something he had grown used to over the... What, months? Years? Decades? In a world where it was always night, he had long since given up keeping track of the days. This was an odd place, to say the least. He never got hungry, thirsty, or tired. Was never able to sleep, and never received food nor drink to occupy him in the slightest. Yes, They were a clever bunch. His only form of entertainment was playing God to his poor victims. Of course, there had been a time when he tried to help the people who arrived on his island, hating the cruel man that They wanted him to become. But even with his highest efforts, They always found a way to kill the visitors. And as they died, so did his resolve. Soon, he had given in to the whispers, deeming trying to help the prisoners as pointless. It was best to help himself, for their death was inevitable.

Maxwell gazed into the orb before him. It was something like a crystal ball. Of course, he couldn't move his arms to touch it, to feel its seemingly smooth surface... He still found it amusing that it was a crystal ball. He was fairly sure he qualified as a warlock at this point, after messing with shadows and the sort. Watching the scene that was depicted before him, he saw that odd lumberjack surviving the earthquake that he had caused for him. However, his eyes widened with surprise as the large trunk captured the batilisk. He had not sent whatever that was, so it must've been something They sent... It had been a while since They had taken matters into Their own hands. However, the scene in the orb switched over to the other prisoner, the scientist with the odd yet admirable hair. Frustrated, Maxwell clenched his hand around one of the arms of his throne. Although he did desperately want to know what that beast had been, it would be interesting to see the scientist and the lumberjack met for the first time.

Wilson walked to the edge of the cave opening cautiously. He lit a torch, and threw it down to see if there was anything waiting down at the bottom. The coast was clear. He stood there, trying to make up his mind whether to go down there or not.

Wilson walked to the edge of the cave opening cautiously. He lit a torch, and threw it down to see if there was anything waiting down at the bottom. The coast was clear. He stood there, trying to make up his mind whether to go down there or not.

Woodie noticed a torch from somewhere to the left of the canyon be tossed down into the ground, and he saw something unimaginably large, a furry giant, with massive hands, was asleep at the bottem of the canyon, and he saw a partial skeleton of a batilisk. Woodie fell back, horror struck by this, large beast. But Woodie saw that this beast, was not of the hostile mind. He threw his rope down, dropped lucy and then jumped down, grabbed the rope, slided down the wall, and then landed on the same level of ground as the beast. That was large enough to consume a Batilisk.

Though once woodie had touched the canyon floor, he stepped on bones, bones, bones, and what else? Bones, Woodie was about to scream when lucy calmed him "Woodie, keep it togheter!" lucy told him.

After a while, Wilson finally made up his mind. He tied a bit of rope onto a nail sticking out of the ground, and rappelled down into the cave. He picked up the torch, and looked around cautiously.

Wilson: Hello?....is anyone there?

Suddenly, the beast that ate the batilisk, yawns, then uses it's massivly large and muscular arms to get itself up on it's flat feet, and as it gets up it notices Wilson, and Woodie. And stare's at them with it's bug eyes's.

The Beast stretchs a little before it takes a step towards Woodie, it keeps it's other eye on Wilson, as if to say "Im watching you" and then it get's down and looks at  Woodie in the eyes.

Woodie stares at his discovery, his monster, his.....Giant, his jaw fall's down to the floor, and he stares at the beast that suprisingly, hasn't tried to either eat him, or crush him. He then realize's the beast's other eye is looking at something, or someone.

Woodie turns around and see's a torch in the hand of someone, so he starts to approach the whoever it may be.

Woodie: "Who are you? And what are you doing down here?"

Befuddled, and starstruck by the response, Woodie decide's to reply, but has lucy ready, incase he's being tricked.

Woodie: "Im Woodie, im a lumberjack, im not exactly alone, if you call a talking axe another living being. But - anyway, what's your name?"

The Giant gets back up, then walks away slowly-shaking the ground with each step, the bones rattling, and nearly devoured light flower bush leave's swaying. The Giant then, lifts it's large Elephant like- fist, and smashes a crater in the canyon wall, then climb's up onto the cave floor, as woodie looks back down the canyon, he notice's that the Giant has made other crater's to get out of the canyon telling him- that this is not the first time it's ever been down here.

Woodie gets up and then realizes the Giant and figures out a name for it, pointing at it he shouts

Woodie: "MANMOTH!"

The Manmoth crawls back down into the canyon, and sees the humanoid spider, which, about to eat it, smells it and realizes, it's human like. He decide's not to eat Webber but instead, walk-chases a batilisk swarm onto the cave floor level.

Wilson tried his best to pay attention to both the strange spider creature before him and the giant creature they had accidentally awoken.

( this is why i try to stay online more, more rp fun!)

Woodie chases after the Manmoth wondering what it will do next, but suddenly he grows fur on his arm.

Woodie: "OH NO! THE CURSE!"

He stops in his tracks, looks at wilson and the spider and starts backing away with a look of fear on his face.

Woodie: "Uh...uh i gotta....... I gotta go!"

Woodie stops a distance away from Wilson then grabs the ground and his back slowly enlargens and fur tears through his shirt.

Woodie: "Can't.........Control.........GRAAAAAAH!"

woodie then grows a beaver tail and grows 2 times his normal size transforming into a large WereBeaver.
