Andrej
Hello at first I want to apologyse for my bad English. When I was playing Region of Giants DLC I started camp in Brich biome near Glommer Statue and I tamed one Catcoon. Everything was fine but when I planted pinecone, Catcoon will take it like gift. So I cant farm trees near Catcoons. Is that bug or feature ? Help me please and thank you. Amkar
It's a feature. When planted they still count as food to them.

Percival
It seems that Birch Saplings classify as food. And yes, that means that pigs, gobblers, catcoons, etc. will consume them.

brummbar7
Last I had one they also steal rabbit holes. Which seems pretty clearly a bug to me. I think pine saplings are probably also a bug. Klei's got a lot of work to do Monday!
Shoggoth
They do not steal them, they destroy them. The idea is the cat is playing with these things, and as can often be the case when a cat messes with things, they destroy them. Catcoons, as lovable as they are, aren't without their downsides.
