Why is there no veal.

Recommended Posts

There's no cheese or tomatoes so why would it matter?

Hmmm. That brings up a good point. Tomatoes would be easy enough to implement. But cheese... perhaps the deerclops could be sedated, then bound with ropes, then milked? Deerclops cheese would make this game.

How would veal be any different from generic meat, from a gameplay perspective?

It'd make a different crock pot dish. At the very least, needless to say, it would present new and exciting RP opportunities.

There's no veal because you've not been force feeding them and restricting their movement.  Baby meat isn't veal by default.

I'd agree, they'd have to be penned in first, ideally underground. Perfect, another reason to go in caves.

The right question is : why there's no bacon ?

Right? There's bacon and eggs, but no bacon? Bacon's just not good enough to exist on its own, is that what Klei is telling us?

Also, someone needs to make brewing a Don't Starve reality. Krampus sack and berries, enough said.

Just no on the veal. I don't want this game picketed by PETA as "promoting inhumane livestock practices to others."

And then I'd picket PETA for trying to sentence herbivores to a slow, painful death by starvation or old age. Better that they go quickly.
