simplex Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 This is strange. I'm quite sure you can't delete/disable an account, so the only conclusion really is that he got banned. And though his posts had some... quirkness to it, I don't see why they'd get him perma-banned. Some threads would justify a couple warning, and maybe a temporary ban, but no recent one (I'm aware of). @JoeW, could you expain this? I'm not taking a stance here, or questioning the motives behind it, I'd just like to know what they are, since I know the policy around here is to almost never ban. Despite it being pure gibberish spam (like every single post of his) it also included things that broke the forum rules: Obscenity: Foul language is not permitted in the Klei Entertainment Community or related services. Excessive use of foul language is not permitted and will be treated as a disruption to other players. This includes public and private discussion as well as user names or any other communication within community services controlled by Klei Entertainment. This also includes in-game player names, chats, and forums.If it's anything other than that, we'll probably never know. not that it's any of our business anyway.
