Did Wendy kill her sister?

Wendy is a gloomy character and always says everything will die. Im wondering if Wendy actually killed her sister and there are a few things which make me think so:

Firstly her quote when examining cut grass "I like to kill small things." Suggests she may be a little homicidal. Also the quote given to her on the character selection screen is something akin to "Where are you going Abigail? We're not done playing yet.". From this I get the feeling that she took the 'game' abigail and her were playing too far. This would also explain why Abigail can potentially kill Wendy, she holds Wendy responsible and is not above taking revenge on her sister.

Its just a thought I had and I still think she is a much more 'dark' character than what is immediately apparent.

I wouldn't be supprised, almost everything you examine when you play with wendy has anything to do with death.

Nevertheless I still love her :3

Maybe Wendy is Abigail and she regrets killing her so she decides to live her life as Wendy. That is also the reason why her sister cannot rest well and haunts her at night

I've played Wendy for some time now and I've had my suspicions... but not enough evidence to take her to court.

Still, you do make a good argument for the fact. I always found it odd that Abigail harms Wendy. However at the same time Abigail doesn't actually hunt after Wendy... she just follows her around.

Talking about playing, I think Wendy should be able to give Abigail the various toys she can dig up from the graves. Now that would be slightly disturbing in its own way...

On the other hand, Wendy seems more depressed than the sort of fringe-crazy that Willow has. I just don't overall get the sense that Wendy is a bad girl, just morbid. While Abigail does come by, she doesn't hurt Wendy and in fact will kill threats to her. Not exactly the behavior of a ghost with a grudge. Wendy's casual reaction to Abigail's appearances also suggests to me that there isn't bad blood between them.

It would fit in with the theory that each character has done something horrible in the past, and being abandoned on that island is their punishment.

However, Abigail isn't hostile to Wendy. Perhaps if Wendy was involved in Abigail's death, it was accidental and Abigail doesn't blame her.

See it's very on and off. Overall i can tell that wendy is just very very accepting of death. But she does feel a strange kin to maxwell and it's very possible having something to do with abigails death is the reason shes there. She doesn't seem very hostile though. I like to kill small things is really as threatening as she ever got. Maybe her crime is taking life for granted? she does seem to want to die.

This is a good theory , maybe they should have some storyline that tells you why there in here , maybe in the endgame thing that is suggested by multiple people.

I thought about that as many others have, and I think that she did not actively kill her, like in murder, but I am pretty sure that she had a part in the death of abigail. Maybe as some kind of truth or dare where she ended up dead, or she was courious about what would happen if she puts a plastic bag over her head, without really knowing that it would kill her in the end.

So imo, she did kill her sister, or had part in it, but she did it not on purpose.
