How Do You Destroy Spilagmites?

When I say "completely destroyed," I mean in the way that a boulder disappears after mining it. I wouldn't know about spawning being disabled or spilagmites regnerating, personally, as I've never really stuck around in the caves long enough to bother finding out.

I remember thay always sticking around. I always thought it was a bug, but now I'm starting to think it's a feature.

Can't quite understand why though... The map is just confusing, it has all those cave spiders there, but none is actually there, even though they are there, they just don't really do anything...

Aw, my head.

If they only grew back like mushrooms or lureplants....

No. NO.

I'll gladly let the things stay there bothering me in the overworld and the map AS LONG as they don't reactivate.

You have no idea how much of a hassle spitters are. THEY MUST ALL DIE IN A FIRE.

Or preferably, not even be born.

There are about 3-4 nest per spot and the same rabbit hutch too . I'm used to kill all but leave only one spilagmite left per spot so the rabbit force always win and whenever I come back I always have carrots and spider glands to loot.

When they get crazy spawning those cave spider nests ( normally near the 2nd sinkhole ), its so easy for creatures to get stuck on the nests. I wish I could blow them up and just remove them. Its also unsettling to think they one day might regenerate or get bugged.
