Maybe giving here a ruler weapon at start or a craftable one with a special efect or certain dmg like maxwel`s sword

I'm honestly not really for the whole, Character only items all that much. I don't really mind it all that much. It's just I don't think it would fit well for Wickerbottom, she is a rather passive character and should have decently passive abilities. As she is meant more for Researching and learning then for fighting. If she had any sort of Character item it should be a passive one, such as her glasses, which can be used to perhaps analyze a creature and find out it's stats. I also find that if she were able to craft books it would be rather Generic and boring, I mean I know she is a librarian. But still.

I feel like Abby is OP now.Please make animals scare away of her so people won't get too much free meat.I had no problem with her damaging the player too.

off topic: any idea when they will add a new character or wich of them will they add ? i saw like 8 or more characters that should be upcoming on wiki

We don't know which character is going to be next, although it's likely one from that list. They've also expressed interest in releasing Wallace, but said he wouldn't be the next one.

i`d love webber - the spider :3 wilton - the skeleton or wortox - the demon or devil ? whatever he is we got all human characters and a robot ^.^ more diversity would be nice i`d like even willbur the monkey :3

op ? so ? they are more fun and unique now ^.^ it`s not like u play with somone else .. it`s single palyer ... if u want to be op .. paly that ... if not .. dont and chose some weack or normal strengh char .. each of them got Pros and CONS

Probably those people didn't make the Darkness level their ***** on the first try or passed through adventure mode on first try. Yes, yes I am bragging To me these "OP" changes will not change the difficulty that much. The thing is they should be either fun or usefull in the long run.Also -

Getting food is the easiest thing nowadays WITHOUT playing as Wendy. If u dont have any just take monster meat (since it's the most abundant ingridient) and 3 honey and you are set for life. Also on day 20 I usually start to make meaty stew only and with any character... Pigs + frogs = a variety of free meat.

yeh wendy so op !! she got lower dmg and a useless ghost (that do low dmg) following here thats damn op.. only usefull thing is the ghost can tank for a limited time .. uselss if u know to kite .. not to hard ^_^ imo it`s balanced

She needs some negative effects as well. I know how easy is to get food, so it should not be even more easy than how it is now : )

Even if you don't get benefit from eating rot, you don't have to eat it, I always use it as a fertilizer or let it sit until I do use it.

No I was talking about Abigail. It's not my playing style, I never killed any rabbits or birds. I'm thinking about my cousin who just started playing. I know there is no way she would leave the base to get food if she can just command Abigail to hunt down birds nearby. Wouldn't even need traps or boomerang. For just simple logic Abby should scare away animals not even gameplay-wise. Why are you against this small little change I suggested?

from what he said she will be a permanent spawn untill she die ... day and night so random spawns would not be necesary ^.^

ok so you are telling me ur runing with abigail chsing bunnys or birds .. and they wont get scared and the abigail that follow u will catch them ? i find it kinda imposible to kill a small animal with abby while she is just following u .. only if by some 1 in a bilion chance a bird will fly just on top of here ... otherwise idk how would u place a small scary animal between u and abigail .. and it`s no way u can use any comand to put here chase and atk something u didint agrro except if there is some kind of mood

I see you're new to Don't Starve! Welcome!Want a pro tip when playing abigail? When you attack something, abigail will attack your target as well. So, if you tell Wendy to attack, then immediately run somewhere else, Abigail will still attack your target, and do all the fighting for you.It's a basic mechanic when playing Wendy. Before harassing veteran players of this game, make sure you know what you're talking about.

I'm not against it, I don't find much challenge in the game right now anyways so to me new abilities, "OP" or not I'm really excited. What's the fun in the abilities if they're all weak ones, I would like to see characters other than Wilson and Wolfgang kick ass.
