Don't Starve Together: From Beyond - Cursed Confrontation Part 1 is Now Available for all players!

Celebrating 20 years of Klei Entertainment and 10 years of Don't Starve Together, we've got a bunch of stuff for you today!

Walk a forbidden path. Cross a warded threshold. Accept a fate long sealed. Choices of unimaginable consequence await.

Highlights

• New boss and loot drops from the Sanctum.
• Added Waymark Compass to help navigate the Sanctum rooms.
• A rope can be used on the Sanctum Chasm to provide a way back up from the Ancient Archives.

Other Additions

• Added Heat Gland that drops from Geothermites, used in new crafts.
• Added Thermic Tools.
• Added Coals, a new trap type.
• Added Thermal Balm, a new healing salve.

Changes

• Added a method of mass unravelling duplicate Curios in the Item Collection screen.
• The Ancient Key is no longer destroyed, but instead pops out when the Ancient Gateway destabilizes and resets the ruins.
• Like Wormwood, all other plant-like creatures now also burn for longer and take more fire damage
• Shadow Hands will no longer target Night Lights.

Interactive Lore Conclusion
We've just reached the conclusion of our first "Interactive Lore" story arc. If you want some fun rewards, grab a shovel and maybe a guide and go digging for some of that deep lore. You'll need 'em.

it applies to all characters, but some characters break the skin by having their head stuff poke thru

• Crafting Menu will detail how much a recipe gives per craft now.
• Increased Portation Orb Fragment recipe to give 3 per craft.
• Telelocator Staff will prioritize a Telelocator Focus with Purple Gems.  If it cannot find one, then it will look for one with Portation Orb Fragments.
• Ancient Guard Towers that aren’t actively attacking you, may now start closing in on you after some time.
• Shadow Creatures will try to spread out to attack as many different Ancient Guard Towers as they can during the Sanctum boss fight.
• Pillars in the Sanctum puzzle room will crumble faster when you run out of moves.
• Enabled twinstick aiming for Walter using Thulecite Slingshot Frame.
• Fixed some Cawnival games not being properly destroyed when a part of them is destroyed from sinking.
• Fixed items potentially getting stuck on the Chasm in the Key room when it opens.
• Fixed the Beckoning Hand for the Keystone to not appear during the Fuelweaver fight.
• Fixed bug with Terramite collision mask.

Happy 20th Anniversary to Klei, happy 10th to DST. Disappointed there are no new trailers, screenshots or news about DS Elsewhere I was really hoping we would get that today..

Was also hoping the Midsummers Cawnival would get some new Content. But I do not wish to rain on anyone’s parade so.. CONGRATULATIONS to surviving 20 years in the gaming industry.
