С какими модами вы играете?

1. Don't Starve Alone.
2. Mod for the backpack slot only.
3. A mod that drops skill points to 0.
4. Well, and my custom rebalance mod, which I will release someday... Maybe after 100 years XD.

i mean, i do the same with solo ds x'''D eternal freezer and custom character stats so i can die fast and never starve, hahaha

This reminds me, Klei’s 40% more damage or 40% less damage from all sources is a pretty lazy way of giving us scaling difficulty.

I want to lower enemy damage to do 40% less, (especially for annoying stuff like monkey pirates) while at the same time, still suffering the full penalty for freezing in cold weather.

Unfortunately.. that is not possible.

I do still play the game though, very rarely.

I have a server where I used to play with a group of friends many years ago, but eventually they all moved on because they either got bored or because live.
I played for 1k more days on that server, but eventually I also lost interested, and I have less time to play nowadays.
I still check on the updates from time to time, and I play for around 2 weeks at a time in my old server after 2 or 3 updates (so I experience the new content with the character that got the skill tree update), and the time I have to play with friends we usually play shorter games. A quick play of Lethal Company, BEPO or your hero shooter of prefence can be done much faster, whereas this game, Autumn is basically 2 and a half hours, and by the end of Autumn you're basically just starting, specially with less experienced players where you don't rush content.

Also, is hard to try to get people to play this game from my humble experience.

I am currently enjoying the cool electric fences, the new underground biome with the new trees and the centipede boss while playing the new WX-78 beta.

This is pretty normal, tbh.

Sometimes you think certain things are OP and want to patch them out, at other times you think some things are really useless, so you buff them enough to be something you'd actually want to use... Which usually means it will be buffed to be situationally stronger than other options at the very minimum.

I don't make mods for DST specifically, since I don't play it enough to feel like putting the effort into learning how to mod it, but when I mod some other games, I do that kind of thing all the time... Though well, the mods I actually release tend to be buff mods, since I think there is more interest in those... But the mods I make for my own enjoyment often have nerfs on them too~

Without this, I don't see the point in backpacks.  It doesn't do me any good to lose my permanent protective characteristics for the sake of... Save time on running on the map...

Although I would reduce the number of slots.

All the skills feel pretty ridiculous from the start...
It's much more interesting to play when you level up gradually and unlock skills along the way. A moment to think while surviving...

I would also open all the skills for all the characters, but weaken all the skills. Even Wilson's skills...

Yep! The only thing I do that is pretty easy mode is Thermal Stones have infinite durability.
It's a rock... why does it break? and why does a sewing kit repair it? Drives me crazy. Guess other stuff that may be considered easy like action queue, or removal of some filters. but idk those can be argued as accessibility.

You can reduce any damage to the character in the DST settings ( -35%). But as I understand it, it only affects the armor.

You can reduce any damage to the character in the DST settings. But as I understand it, this only affects the HP of the character. Not on the armor.

As a long-time Souls player, I'm used to dying with 2-4 hits, and sometimes even with one...
So I personally would reduce the protection from any armor by at least 2 times (except pure).
And it would increase the damage to some creatures a little bit, and to bosses by 2 times, because to receive 10% hp damage through armor... It's kind of small... In my opinion.
