2 things.

Has anyone else noticed that the round holes on the rotary phone rotates sometimes when you press them? Or maybe it is after I have pressed the red button? Don't remember.

ITS NOT JUST ME?? okay i have NO idea what causes it but it seems to happen when i alt tab back in?? genuinely might be a lead

edit: now that i think about it, it might just be a bug involving the holes spinning to match the main spinny mechanism when they're not sposed to

I *THINK* (if we haven't mentioned it here already) that the music puzzle is a Chromatic Scale, it has 12 keys (5 black keys, 7 white keys presented in the puzzle as white circles and black circles), but I'm not sure if it's ascending or descending or what 6 4 3 means in this instance. Perhaps:
6 - A (quarter note)
4 - F (eighth note)
3 - E (half note)

I don’t know what the dash means — it could be a sharp, a flat, or minor/major.
Would someone with more musical knowledge be willing to try?

ive talked to alot of my more musically knowledged friends and the lines don't seem to anything actually music related.. closest thing is the length of a note but you cant do that on the rotary

Closest thing you can do is record an empty space for a pause before the next note

I got the wrong answer, but maybe someone will get an idea from my guess?

First, I assigned the 12 variable ingredients to the dial in the order they appear in the field notes.

image.png.c451568d1b7f4c2d3a6dcdcb72283566.png

Then, I pressed dial buttons according to when ingredients appear in panels starting with Wagstaff in front of the berries. So the first three panels were like:

Dial 10 + Red Button,

Dial 2 + Dial 5 + Red Button,

Dial 6 + Dial 7 + Red Button, and so on.

However, I was also flipping the switch depending on if Wagstaff was near or far. So my actual inputs were this,

Dial 10 + Button,

Switch, Dial 2 + Dial 5 + Button,

Switch, Dial 6 + Dial 7 + Button,

Dial 3 + Dial 4 + Button,

Switch, Dial 1 + Dial 8 + Button,

(No ingredients, so playing a rest note) Button,

Dial 9 + Dial 12 + Button,

(Rest note) Button,

Switch, Dial 11, Button.

Doesn't make a good tune and is also the wrong answer, but I feel it might serve as brain food for someone else.

- The labels on the test tubes should be fixed now, everyone should see the same numbers and the timezone should be correct - let me know if this is not the case for you. Reminder for everybody that the test tubes are NOT one of the clues for the musical door puzzle (free hint you got because of our bugs!).

The label on the first tube it's still bugged for me. It changes when I click whatever ingredient. It goes from 2:07pm to 2:12pm. Then it quickly goes back to 2:07pm (sometimes it stays).

I'm convinced this music puzzle has to do with the "Banking" paper on the day side.

It says "Voxola Radio Company" on it and there's a date and the numbers 1, 2, 7 and 5 visible.

This paper, for now, is still something we haven't use.

I believe there is a 5th number we cant see:
 image.png.d5a39333c674c4442f97e3fc61eb521c.png

maybe a zero or a 9 or 8.

Don't quite know if this has been brought up before, or straight up has nothing to do with it and is mere coincidence

But on top of matching a piano octave, the 12 keys also share a pattern with the months of a year.

Maybe this is peak splitting of hairs, but felt it was worth mentioning it given the only unexplored lead so far has been the voxola banking note, giving us the date August 10th, 197

Noticing that there's 12 buttons and 12 months in a year is actually quite smart! And it does connect with the note you mentioned, so I do wonder if that's actually it.

how would this work with the two octaves though?

This stub of a deposit has the name George Witherstone, THE Witherstone that sold magical props to William Carter. Why does Wagstaff of all people have a deposit stub in George's name? And what is inside this deposit?

After carefully thinking about it, it's mostly Witherstone being one of the people who had a share on the making of the company and this is the stub that says the amount George deposited on the starting of the company.

I went back to refresh my memory of who he was, and I can't really think of anything that could relate to the music lock doing that, but just as a general lore detail I finally noticed the Shadow Watcher is present in a framed picture at the very end of Wes' short. Neat.

image.png.adac76205c4404553baf5776ba992485.png

Either way, with his name being emphasized again I wonder if it has any greater meaning, like he'll play any larger role soon- or if it's just a fun thing to recall every once in a while why not. Sort of like the framed picture with the Shadow Watcher itself.

Kinda wish we'd creep up on a conclusion of sort for that Shadow guy soon, the original cast of shadow creatures at least seemed to me like they had more going for them than just being random critters that has never really been spoken of since the end of Maxwell's own act. By all means they feel entirely retired.

I ve tried playing ragtime on the thingy, no result.

Is any musician capable of doing a sheet for the song on the gramophone room ? might as well try it

Edit: Ragtime may be the answer but its been 12 years since i last read a music sheet so i may have some things wrong

I think we need to find things in the comic that might be a clue to the door puzzle and not just try any song associated with the franchise. I think if we need to put in a song to make the door work, then there is something indicating which song that maybe.

I think the 12 ingredients match the 12 keys on the door. I am currently trying to figure out what could align with the lever and song's composure.
