English is not my native language, so I'm sorry if this should be obvious, but what does ARG or AWS mean?

ARG means "alternate reality game", a poorly defined term meaning something like puzzles for a game found (mostly) outside the game. AWS is Amazon Web Services, a cloud hosting platform that Klei use.

ARG means "Alternative Reality Game" and i guess AWS means "Amazon Web Service" or something like that?

by the way, it's fine bro, not a big deal 👍

Hey everybody.

We don’t normally talk in these threads, but I want to clear up what our intentions are here.

We have some stories to tell, and we have a long path toward telling them. We’ve made plans at least up until the end of this year and have further arcs with different characters in mind. The idea of these stories is to provide some lore and background that is more difficult to convey in the game, and providing more ways to engage with our lore.

Our original intention was to provide a “countdown” to help players know when our next bit would start and where the current bit would end. This isn’t quite working as intended, so we want to change it. Not only so it feels better for players, but also provides us a little more flexibility.

On that note, we’re also adjusting how we indicate the next stage to better represent when the current bit is done or the next is available. We want it to be much clearer whether you are done for now or whether there is still more left to find.

The next stage was to begin Saturday, but due to some illnesses and a long weekend, we’re going to move that date forward a bit to give us some more time on the next part. So we’re pausing the current countdown until we have a safer date.

Finally, our plan is for the Klei Point rewards to continue to scale based on the time between stages. There will also be other rewards at major points in the story as those who have participated in previous puzzles know.

A big thanks to everybody who has joined us so far, we hope you’re all enjoying playing these puzzles as much as we’re enjoying making them!

Any news on when the ARG will continue, or perhaps a guessimate?

Hi, everyone!

I would like to share my thoughts on the puzzle.

First, I think that Wagstaff's audio sounds more like "short" "short" "long" "long" which makes it · · ‐ ‐. At first I thought this could be translated from Morse code as "i m" which lead to "Wagstaff". But it is possible to be translated as "e a t" – there is also a bitten applе in the images. So, we may be expecting the obvious Wagstaff's eating? Or spitting (expectoration)? lol (The Morse code may lead to "e w".)

What else do we expect? We expect transmission, transference, disappearance, teleportation, experiment, result, intervention, work, talk/conversation, sound, melody, song, "ouch"...

The next thing I would like to share is that I think Wagstaff looks older on the last revealed image (he has a third wrinkle on his forehead and has a bit more white hairs). It is possible that the younger Wagstaff has thrown the bitten apple through the portal and that the apple ended in the future with the older Wagstaff.

Lastly, I would add that I noticed a "defect" in the image (border) where Wagstaff is holding the microphone. I turned the name of the image file from hex to string (UTF-16 Big-Endian) and then tried to translate the result. I got the words "green", "juice/sap/soup/crush", "watch for", "garden/park" (, "and", "that"). Then I tried to convert the image file data (URI) from hex to string (UTF-16 Big-Endian) and I saw some interesting emojis inside the result: image.png.39642a24d4d972045f104ef77ae0c4d6.png image.png.691e4a5ffcc19d74296a48905647a317.png image.png.0b0d40ddc03109a5e0289900293077a1.png image.png.a61e349e96cfb8d544e68197a830fd3d.png image.png.2830a9ee2c2e23f9ba1190cbdfc2c216.png image.png.9cac2ef6f37d81042e05683b3a454c6c.png image.png.088e8e9b0cda1dc0c9a0e764e00d9fbc.png image.png.9a151c7759062ee647053a9b5bca885e.png image.png.67c2a7164040a88643b28315a7db8623.png image.png.7c6b7ce5b3b2b8c5de2a06e70f68a0cf.png image.png.64d4a6543b262d5b6bf0582e26e3f050.png image.png.bbde4bd3f1041dd0db99cbf599f13d03.png image.png.bd39ba700f2d4dcc71eda979e3619313.png image.png.298b959e993a83219f13b927f1d14ffc.png image.png.302998793c16237e339a5dccefe7bbb2.png image.png.606b0628575af2086b8bac0ac2ea3931.png image.png.3bff29a0b5fc2dae14792fd673e845cd.png image.png.eff3c14a8128c87b1ccdd97e724a2b69.png image.png.3cb350fc6a42aa5d3774b4adb2392180.png image.png.230ff926abe34da5a67d949d805c2be7.png image.png.72d8363584ee7e80f445005fd064822c.png image.png.eb4ab9016aec804daa45e0ebae0f52e2.png image.png.f46b4c0866045abe15ac57a767112b41.png

I may have gotten some clues, or I may have gone the wrong path. What do you think?

Ophiuchus caught my eye, alongside Virgo, Libra, and Capricorn, as possibly representing times of year (Ophiuchus being Nov 29 - Dec 17)
