what about how the sap drops in the console log seems to speed up, or has something to do with how fast you click or how much you click on the moon to go back and forth.  the hourglass is always 5s intervals, but the sap intervals seem to be able to go up much faster -

I think the sap countdown is going down in the same pattern as the previous fire/hourglass countdown? They all went 1 (0.97) 0.96 0.9

not the numbers themselves, the timing of the console update can be manipulated by clicking the moon - notice how it starts with 2 drop countdowns between hourglass (5s) intervals?  hourglass is seemingly locked to only update the console every 5s, the sap drip count can update many more times between hourglass updates

The hourglass timer is almost at 0.5 already, so we can expect it to be over by tomorrow at the same time the other timers finished.

Considering the hourglass timer started both times we got "lore interaction" klei points, I think it's safe to say we've completed all the was to do for now. Tomorrow something will change in some way and we'll get new hints as to what to do next to unlock more panels.

The wiggles above the apple look like an "m" and a "v" to me. Perhaps more panels will have more letters. If the waveform in the sound is legit, it'll probably need more letters to be completed too.

sap drip only counts if you're on the night side and will log to the console every time you swap to night

Honestly a enlightened wagstaff would be terrifying because of what horrors he could create with so much information i mean just look at what he created without enlightenment

sure, but thats not what im saying.  clikcing on the speech bubble will make him play a sound as long as you stay on that screen for the first time or its your first time on that screen playing the sound, then click the moon like 20 times fast, (or 1 time, idc) then end on the night side, you'll see it'll continue with an increased number of sap drips while staying on the night side, and the sound wont play anymore.  im guessing it'll play again when the pattern is right or something new will play or something.  but you can definately get the sap drip update in the console to tick much more often between the hourglass ticks, and at specific intervals.

We are familiar with the little squiggles on the Voxola radio and the Voxola factory that resembles the radios, but why does Wagstaff use them as a sign to his office?

This sign doesn't seem to signify anything, yet Wagstaff took the time scribble it and hang it up. How would someone know if this is an office, a lab, or any particular room? I bet this symbol holds a meaning only a few characters are privy to.

Maybe Wickerbottom would recognize it?

Antennae, probably.

this too for lore

Note the lightbulbs!! I really think the portals need to be "tuned' or "synced"!
We see lightbulbs missing from the staticky portal in the new puzzle, meanwhile the spiralized(stabilized?) portals have lightbulbs along the top ... we even have a shell bell depicted in Charlie's repaired Ancient Gateway at the top of it ..... be it lightbulbs, whistling a tune, using shell bells, i think this pattern calibrates & stabilizes the portal

@Fliphe if you turn an apple (it's also visible with your fork experiment), both the bite and the leaf will turn. Which means if bite and a leaf were on the opposite sides, they should remain on the opposite sides.

I think this might point either to some mirroring effect in the arg puzzle, or to the story itself (e.g. an apple is a projection).

Hey everybody.

We don’t normally talk in these threads, but I want to clear up what our intentions are here.

We have some stories to tell, and we have a long path toward telling them. We’ve made plans at least up until the end of this year and have further arcs with different characters in mind. The idea of these stories is to provide some lore and background that is more difficult to convey in the game, and providing more ways to engage with our lore.

Our original intention was to provide a “countdown” to help players know when our next bit would start and where the current bit would end. This isn’t quite working as intended, so we want to change it. Not only so it feels better for players, but also provides us a little more flexibility.

On that note, we’re also adjusting how we indicate the next stage to better represent when the current bit is done or the next is available. We want it to be much clearer whether you are done for now or whether there is still more left to find.

The next stage was to begin Saturday, but due to some illnesses and a long weekend, we’re going to move that date forward a bit to give us some more time on the next part. So we’re pausing the current countdown until we have a safer date.

Finally, our plan is for the Klei Point rewards to continue to scale based on the time between stages. There will also be other rewards at major points in the story as those who have participated in previous puzzles know.

A big thanks to everybody who has joined us so far, we hope you’re all enjoying playing these puzzles as much as we’re enjoying making them!

I know it might not be the best way of communication but I have a question that a lot of people might also have as well. Are you guys planning on releasing a skin similar to the methew puzzle one's? If yes, will it be obtainable later on? Give us a hint maybe.

Not directly, anyway 😉

I'm excited to see what the future holds, I've really missed these kinds of puzzles and how they would bring everyone together to discover something.

idk if we already know this yet but every panel below the desk corresponds to a letter in the alphabet, from left to right. spelling out MANIFESTUM and WAGSTAFF with these panels will reveal some of them! credits to the chaps on the biddobams discord for discovering thisImage
