actually theyre apparently doing late pledges (basically extending the campaign duration since it contributes to stretch goals) since theyre showing demos off at a con soon.

That kind of thing is set up to release and the distribution isn't handled by Klei. If everyone is out sick at Klei and one person pushes the Hallowed Night event, they would be severely understaffed in the event of game breaking bugs or dangerous exploits. The ARG is probably less of a risk, but there are still a lot of moving parts behind the scenes.

so extreme for a simple turn on of the event and release free costume to the mass who want to be in Halloween vibe.. what will be extreme to have klei server come with turned on event ?
for many years they didnt change anything during hallowed night and i didnt expect the event to deliver some new stuff this year too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No but seriously. The filenames are hashed (same length unique name) automatically from whatever web app they're using. That's the first layer of gibberish. Then let's convert it into UTF-16 out of all encodings to get the second layer of gibberish. Finally, let's ask google translate to make sense of gibberish and it gives us a third level of gibberish BUT IN ENGLISH.

I don't mean to mock others for trying random stuff to come up with answers especially with these kinds of puzzles, but... this ain't it chief.
