Anyone notice PPP broke bionic dupes?

They intentionally were not allowed to eat at a table and gain what otherwise would be an overpowered +6 morale from the great hall.  Now they can.  What's more annoying is that they keep running back and forth between the table and the charger to get another battery, and the batteries they drop on the floor of the great hall hurt the decor.

Perhaps having an autosweeper to put empty banks back into charger would be the way.

Youi can manually lock tables to organic dupes so bionics wont use them. That will return their previous behavior

You don't put auto sweeper on great hall to pick up left over food? Food drop on floor on great hall already a common problem before bionic dupes exist. Just have auto sweeper deliver them back to where they belong.

One easy way to deal with dropped food in the great hall is ho have it between the toilets and food storage. 

Dupes go first to the toilet and then scan for the nearest food.

Oh it is total breakage.  Bionics have so few skills that +6 morale from something as easy as the great hall is way OP.  With that they can max all skills and not need any other morale bonuses ( other than required things like bedroom and bathroom ).

i don't care to negotiate the balance of it, i'm just saying that it was an intentional change when I deny applying the term breakage to the change

Yeah I was kinda wishing bionics went in there to eat something else when they announced it in the PPP beta. (I called it 'placeholder-y' despite the fact it was in the bionics trailer)

 

I had suggested the new tallow lube stick unaware it was just fancier gear balm, but completely forgot that they also eat oxygen tanks, which would still be weird, but make more sense. If it's going to remain as batteries only I'd at the very least ask that they carry more than one to their table at a time, regular dupes bring quantities of food depending on how hungry they currently are, bionics should too.

I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it so what makes you think it was intentional?
