These bright filters do hurt eyes, ya get that? I know it should feel like you're in that enlightened state but it really doesn't have to be always eye hurting level.

People do not like brightening filters. Only one that is tolerable is probably moggles, cause nightberry filter also is just ugh.

Not sure, I since I kinda don't do beta I watch others do vids of it. Thought I seen the effect still existing.

Sadly not from my experience, you still get the bright blue filter. I hope they adjust it by the end of the beta, since the filter and ambience is especially not appealing long term...

I object. The upgraded crown needs to maintain the same filter as the regular enlightenment to showcase its function and keep the consistency between functionality and appearance. Just like the nightmare amulet and the bone helmet.

The only way to solve this problem is to change the generalduty enlightenment filter instead of creating a abrupt special case for upgraded crown.

Guys do you think DST should have an option to remove or soften every screen filters?

On the premise that DST is one of the most a great game for me, but tbh DST is one of the most eye-unfriendly games.

I agree. I get migraines frequently and I noticed that they get stronger if I play DST with color cubes on. I'm forced to use the mod that removes all seasonal and sanity filters. Especially bad it gets when experiencing lunar rifts transition when mining riftstals. The screen keeps flashing bright blue when I step in and out of the rift area. Another bad one is nightberry filter which hurts my eyes so much with default colours. Luckily color cube removing mod makes them somewhat bearable too.

Absolutely. The worst on the eyes has to be when I find a funny fruit on a tree, try it, and -

We are now all blind. Seriously Nightberries are so cool but completely unusable unless the effect is tuned down, it gives irl insanity (I use this mod personally).

Thank you. In my case, snow is kryptonite for my eyes. The snow in DST is so hot that it glows blue-white, so I need welding goggles instead of snow goggles.

Another major problem is that the gestalts are completely invisible when there is snow on the ground. Fighting Celestial Champion in winter is hard mode...

klei purposefully  gave the 2 nightvision a filter as a "balance"

I've probably said this before, using harm to player health as an in-game downside is absolutely not good idea.

Maybe I'm too weak and sensitive, but I want Klei think more about this, rowing make me carpal tunnel syndrome and Lucy's squeaking is draining my real sanity.

Edit: I'm Sorry @Edible Coal, please forgive my misunderstanding.

I complete agree with your point but not your delivery.

I think regardless it is a great and valid point. I personally dislike that color cube and would prefer to have solid options to change it if it hurt my eyes.

They should make it worse, like the gloom berry. Make it guaranteed to give your eyes enough strain you'll have to Wear Wagstaffs goggles just to see.

wait, that would fix the problem. Klei should add a button on settings to remove filters altogether.

Patch notes:
Made enlightenment filter more immersive.

Oh that's a really good color cube in that mod. I dunno why would they make it more extreme.
