Balatro has like a powerful aura or something because the games that cross over with Balatro puts a demo of Balatro inside their own game.

Very much late, but I belive it depends on if it was retrofitted into a world or generated with it? A Lil bit of a shame I think. 

being able to hammer it and replace it would've been nice for sure, I also wouldn't mind if it was a tiny little island very close to shore, I think that could do nicely (:

it's this skin bundle, you can also weave it with spools. sorry if i misled you into thinking it's a free skin

yeah it's for sure somewhere in the surface map, even in a world created before this update. you can use this console command if you can't find it

My gf loves the new setpiece even though she doesnt like card games. She actual find it fun for some reason. My only takeaways are:

1. I wish you can hammer and rebuild it. 

Yes I kinda agree with a person I saw here saying that it is what it is to encourage exploring the world but have you thought about it being actually fun and engaging compared to the useless stage setpiece? It is better for the machine to be able to relocate places and actually get used instead of it being unused in a far corner of the map. Engagement = makes ppl want to try the real balatro game instead. 

 

2. I wish Jimbo can accomodate 2 or more players playing the game at the same time. My gf tried to play the game when I was using the machine but it only shows Examine JIMBO on her end. 

 

3. I wish we can collect the unique character joker cards. It is fun collecting stuff imo as long as it is collect worthy, unlike the trinkets.

 

All in all, it is a great mini update but I wish klei would focus more in the game's aspects such as:

1. Fixing the bugs, especially the Furnace not being able to destroy a sea fishing rod. This one is so weird cause I saw a forum post where the bug has been fixed according to the devs but I still encountered it.

 

2. Reworking existing content instead of adding new content, heck even worse, adding majority of the new content that is locked in the end game where the majority of this game's playerbase are casuals. 

 

3. Better skill tree implementations. Wilson is the best example for "the first experiments are always the worst ones". As a wurt main, the only thing i liked abt her skill tree are the shadow merms and the tool shed building since tilling soil manually is tedious. 

It is a great game and I will still continue playing it because I really love the game(860 hrs and counting).

Ok so.

A suggestion for this from me would be to  interleave the rewards more.
It feels like the bananas and the banana pops should be further apart from one another, and the 2 gold closer to the refined rope/stone.

Having this enormous and probable points window that's 25 food and a lot of sanity right next to a bunch of 50 food and - sanity foods is a bit odd.
Possibly one thing I'd love for in this would be the 5 gold drop having an alternative for grass tufts, as currently I've seen a lot of groups complain/quit grass geckos worlds so if jimbo was a source of grass tufts we could at least have a fighting chance at convincing people to stay if there were more ways to obtain them.

This new “In-Game” version of Baltaro is one of the coolest updates DST has ever had, but this also comes from the mouth of someone who enjoyed the Midsummers Cawnival & the Curio Curiosity Mini-Games, the more things I have to do besides grind Raid bosses the better!

I would love to see more “In-Game” playable Mini-Games, I’d really love to see Air Hockey you can play with another player or play with an NPC.

My only complaints about this new update (aside from crashing anytime I try to use the cards Jimbo gives me on my Xbox) 

Is that you can’t create more then one Poker slot machine, and only one person can play at a time.. I think? :(

I like it though, I hate getting bananas from ruins or the quay, so this is great for me. Also the minigame is just really fun

Honestly a much better idea would have been to add this to the ocean and have Wavey Jones be the dealer with npc moon quay pirates as background customers.

This is so weird because I have always used a scaled furnace to nuke sea fishing rods from sunken chests and never encountered this bug. Wonder if that changed recently?

Edit: Yeah just tested it again and it works fine. Are you using server mods or something?

Is there maybe fishing tackle In the rod? I believe things holding items cannot be incinerated anymore. I put a slingshot with pebble rounds into the furnace and it wouldn't burn until I separated the pebble shots and the sling itself. Then they both burned fine.

The rod cannot be destroyed if it has a lure or float attached to it. I think this is the problem you are having
