2025 Community Skin Request Catalogue

Let's gather all together here to discuss this year's possible skin releases Klei could or should make in order to please everyone with a wallet or spools to support Klei through play or pay.

The rules are simple, we think of a skinline or specific skins we'd want to see and write it out or draw it out to post it here as concepts and ideas for what Klei could bring to us. We upvote by liking posts to show most engagement and desire to see more of what we want or need.

I'll start off by wishing for a Rome and roses collection, more marble white, more vines and roses. As well as I'd wish for the concept of void gear to have more demonic skins with horns and custom blinking multiple eyes. If Klei were to make more skins for moonstone or thulecite walls I sure do wish to see more colors or additions going on like the noveau stone wall had with more materials shown built into the ornaments made of other materials too.

More pantomimed skins for April fools. This includes backpacks and armor. I want to be able to see my skin unobstructed while still using gear

Archaic items/tools, lazy forager skins (Still none) and an intricate woodwork dock skin would go so hard.

I wish there were prettier skins for the science stations and the lightning rod. There are currently 0 skins for the siesta-lean-to, although I like it's looks and color palette as is.

Anything that looks like it fits the game and isn't TOO pompous or fantacy-like. Chests are a great example on this, I absolutely HATE the one with dragon legs attached to it, while I love all the rest.

I want the skin collections that have tool skins to expand and have a skin for every tool (especially the hammer). The gorge as an example, has skins for the axe, pickaxe, and shovel; but when I want to use a hammer I have to use the crowbar skin, that feels very dissonant.

I want skins for the brightshade tools, too. Not necessarily from previous collections.

I think some more elaborate outfits that arent necessarily part of a character's set would be nice, not something so basic like the pants and tees we have, but something more in line with that Merchant outfit we got from the Terraria crossover

i've always been peeved by how armours in this game DO NOT HAVE SLEEVES. it's so bizarre seeing my clothes poking out under a decked out marble suit, feels vulnerable and cheap-ass armor.

and every single piece of body-slot clothing in this game are VESTS, they also DO NOT HAVE SLEEEEEEEEVES  klei please give me to cover up my noodle arms

I want more belongings skins that compliment a character. I like stuff like plant based skins when i'm playing Wormwood, like the leafy tent. I just want skin collections for each character; (tons of circus and strongman-esc skins for wolfgang, plant stuff for wormwood, ashy or soot covered skins for willow, etc)

Would be cool if like each character had their own version of the meat effigy too, instead of it just looking like Wilson.

ok, so a lot of you who were born in the 80's might understand me when i say what i want, what i really, really want is long common sleeves and skirts so i can live the dream of being a dst wizard. it shouldn't be too hard either, there is already a framework in place for hiding parts of limbs so it wouldnt be impossible to have the skirts refer to a blank sprite from the knees-down while blanking out any shoes and the rasputin robe shows that wide sleeves are entirely doable, we also could really do with more common clothing parts in general that arent shirts & gloves AND there are a lot of tops that have silhouettes that could potentially be improved on by removing some of the datable flare on them and making them more versatile

 

as an added bonus we have a LOT of common colours but less than half are in common(heh) rotation and this would reduce the number of fishtan driving gloves one would get by diversifying the pool of common drops
