Still no Roadmap?

I'm sure devs are real busy with the beta, and are probably wanting to get that out before announcing the new roadmap. But still, we're nearing the end of February and haven't heard much about plans for the year. I always look forward to seeing where things are headed, so hoping we might be getting some info soon?

I wonder what they're doing in the beta.

Wendy and Wortox haven't recieved major changes in a lil bit and Walters tree is content-complete iirc.

I thought they would've announced the update today.

(I mean I hope all 3 trees get some more balance changes, but they seem reluctant to do that)

I don’t know about a DST 2025 Roadmap, but I just found out TODAY that they blended the RogueLite Genre (my favorite game Genre) with the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors franchise. (A game series I’ve been playing since Playstation One) I can’t afford to buy the game right now.. but Warriors: Abyss looks really fun (if your into RogueLites and the Warriors games franchise)

What frustrates me to the ends of the earth with Klei is that DST is a game that has enough assets to be turned into any type of game you want it to be and provide a vast variety of gameplay experiences to a wider audience.

Yet Klei plays it safe and close to the chest, by sticking to a one size fits all design philosophy for content updates.

Instead what they NEED to be doing is looking into games such as “Soul Knight” or “Realm of Pixels” games that have several variety of game modes that shake up the gameplay formula.

I feel like features such as the episodic story campaign “Adventures Mode” from Solo DS just gets forgotten and buried..

Meanwhile I’m waiting for the team of people who sit down and say “alright how do we add an actual RogueLite mode to DST?”

You guys probably get tired of hearing me talk about this but, I’d like to see sandbox mode get a creative mode, kinda like BattleBlock Theater where you could build your own maps and place your own hazards and mobs etc

Id like to see Survival Mode require more effort to try to survive, etc etc..

Id like to see updates and gameplay changes to lights out mode etc etc..

But- Sadly if we’re going into March with no trace of a roadmap the more likely outcome is that Klei’s getting ready to abandon the DST & move on to IDK something else.

No offense, but it sounds like you're just tired of this game.
