I just really don't like that the way of getting shadow things is broken and inferior compared to the lunar one.

Shadow hearts are for fuelweaver, though. The lunar equivalent is more like the restrained static, which is fairly easy to farm.

@Maxil20 I made a new discovery!!!!! It's not just drops!!! Klei already implemented other suggestions such as diminishing sanity when he eats you!!! Exactly, I went from 200 sanity to 170-171-169 ish everytime. It doesn't have a normal sanity aura tho. It's like we have a sorta of early access of the next patch about the wormy boi. 

Andddd I want to add, they gave him also new sfx, sounds and animations!

Every single change in this patch is just insane.

Man, Shadow rifts are just awesome. Ickers, Mimics, Rictus, Shadow trio, Lurking nightmare are all awesome enviromental dangers.

Im sorry but Shadow side feels much more impactfull and engaging than the lunar side.

Also, One change I would suggest is giving the Ornate chests a post rift loot table. That way players would have another reason to engage with Ornery chests.

I should have worded my original post better. 

I meant that Ornate chest could get a new, better loot table after rifts are active.(Like more thulecite, More green gems)

Though, I would'nt be mad if they add extra loot in them.

The best items are from the moonside/Wagstaff. The best monsters are there too (Deadly Brightshade, Crystal Deerclops, Armored Bearger and Possessed Varg). And Spark Ark was much more creative and is more valuable than simply recycling Shadow Atrium.

It is much easier to obtain the resources for the Brightshade Repair Kit than the Void Repair Kit. This impacts the fact that it is better to use items from the moonside more consistently (Deadly Brightshades come to meet the player and are easy to defeat) than to go down into the caves just to get the resources for the Void Repair Kit.

And on the surface there is a good chance that we will have new possessed monsters. In the cave, however, everything comes down to what was presented.

Feeback: "content should be intuitive, things like fw's is hard to know without external info"

Yes I agree but I generaly prefer environmental dangers(Ickers) and unique mobs (Shadow thralls) over more bosses.

Sure, Lunar side has really well designed bosses but none of them really hit me like the shadow trio or the new mobs.

I think lunar side needs more variety like different versions of brightshades, more environmental dangers, and permanent (non-destructive) changes to the world.(Mimic chests)

I didn't see any real effective danger from Ickers, they are slow and don't attack the player. Shadow thralls are indeed dangerous, but the ruins are already very dangerous with 8 or more shadow creatures attacking you during the cycle. Furthermore, it is a bad loot due to the increased risk (1-2 nightmare fuel is not enough).

The fact is that this update itself is very poor in my opinion, mainly because it is focused only on caves and without a skill tree. The only difference for me is the beefalo items and we can't even guarantee that Klei won't ruin this during this beta.

I would like to emphasize that this is just my opinion and it is very subjective.

i'm not, i won't mind it getting added, although there'd be the issue of less people getting to know how to do the fight and later possibly figuring a new strat out for it and people might steal an opal from archives for that and won't allow you to get it back without waiting for potentially 20 days for a full moon or swapping to wilson unlike wickerbottom making the moon book and forcing a full moon for getting and deconstructing a moon caller's staff

And what practical use would that be? After Klei changed the distance between the fossils, they are no longer useful. And getting 8 of them is very easy.

What I found most interesting was having 40 boneshards.

They weren't renewable which meant that you cannot kill fuelweaver if somehow someone takes all of them. This is specially doable considering they aren't key items (not dropped when disconnecting / leaving caves, can be burnt on a dragonfly furnace / eaten by a lureplant)

However... Isn't the great depth worm rift content? Which means you need to kill AFW lol

Rejoice! I tested it, with 4 great worms killed, you have in total 44 boneshards!!

That is true, I also mentioned that in my first post. 'Indirect' damage was what I had meant to put.

i dont know i feel like theres more annoying things now....wich of these new things one can tone down/remove in the world settings? thats what i want to know, because if mimics can just somehow appear in the overworld and take over your tools then thats cringe, like, who seriously puts there tools and equipable into chests?

Ehmnnn.... me and a lot of my friends and pupils of my community? Who also bash continuously the other friends and the other pupils of my community that act as hobos in our bases and leave everything on the floor, creating piles and piles of garbage xD

have you tried placing them on the floor systematic? stackin all the axe and other tools next to each other? it takes alot more space and time to check every chest for a tool you need right now then just pickin them up from the floor, i mean i never said i leave materials on the floor, i place chests next to the alchemy engine to place the things in there, but tools for easy accress on the floor, too many times in random puplic servers do i see duplicateds of tools because no one uses the tools from the chests and it just piles up
