If Klei is revisiting the ocean and adding more content to it, do you think that the portal will be given a purpose after? (Charlie doing Charlie stuff to Siphon Moon Gods energy so she herself could be more powerful) I wouldn’t begin to know which short, could’ve been forgotten knowledges or it could’ve been the “season finale” Teaser. I just know that the Huge lamp you see above the sealed portal in that animation, smashes down into the portal breaking it- And that’s what triggers the Shadow vs Gestalt War that breaks out in the Lunar Grotto. Or am I mis-remembering things? Now there is ANOTHER portal you’ll find later in the game on an island full of monkeys that’s spitting out resources from wherever those monkeys came from, and that portal never got sealed off, and still just sits there spewing up resources. I have my own ideas on what it’s all leading up to, but I don’t want to “Spoil” Klei’s bigger picture if I happen to guess correctly. The moon god (whose name is Altar I think?) is clearly depicted in the Sealed Portal's markings.
