I myself am growing a lot next to my DFly arena so I can kill DFly and loot most of the sproutrocks since ~20-21 days elapse. I still need to decorate it (since I can’t really do that until I get all the sproutrocks sorted), but it’s going well so far.

Main “goal” is to have a large central area of sproutrocks to farm and then have a bunch loosely spread throughout the desert alongside a bunch near DFly. That’s going to take a long, long time though (farming this many has taken ~1500 days of a good focus of bottle hunting/farming).

Damn I wanted to do the same thing but it’s such a low chance to get them, I just wish Klei would let us have a 50% chance to get a second seed when breaking/chopping the trees, at least we could potentially double the amount slowly because sailing for it is an extreme drag. You mentioned every 20-21 days the gems grow back?

The trees have a growth time that ranges from 12-25 days, determined the moment the seed generates in the chest. For the sake of convenience, this means approximately 50% of your sproutrock trees should be ready to harvest every 18.5 days. 

Ideally I would want to harvest exactly every 25 days to get all of them, but harvesting every 20 days is good enough for me and still results in a majority of the sproutrocks being ready to pick.

I don’t think sailing is a big issue personally, it’s primarily bottles that are the bottleneck. I would personally prefer ways to get more, though I am happy the update added otters/CK as sources compared to the only renewable one prior being sitting in an ocean and slowly farming bottles that way.

You make me want to go to 2 million days in dst but I get bored over and over sometimes lol. Can't comprehend how to make it that long and not lose motivation.

I think it's One of the Dreams of a Megabaser to be able to binge cook multiple stacks of Near-Mint condition Warly buff foods to bundle for future use.

Pretend I didn't screw up and originally thought the recipe only needed 1 frog leg so I tried making it with 1 large fish meat + 1 leg and 2 honey and made ~10 honey nuggets before I realized my mistake. Here's a bonus picture of me Destroying That Evidence so you don't question it:

i have the craziest klaus luck i always end up getting krampus sack early but in the past week ive gotten it on literally my first klaus kill on two separate worlds

on this wicker world im doing a farm crops/farm crop recipes only challenge starting from day 1 early game was pretty exciting cuz wild carrots are off limits too.

The boss bundle on the wicker world ended up giving me a toad skin AND mushlight blueprint

Hahaha. I'll check mine tomorrow when I get back to my PC. For now, here's a related screenshot I pulled out of my playthrough with a friend, with my original voiceover of this moment: "Hey, I accidentally made chocolate ice cream as well, want one?"

We had 6 milk whites. I ended up messing up exactly half of the batch of that ice cream, either forgetting ice or honey in some of them. He took my joke very seriously and actually ate one wet goop even though he is not a newbie and knows what it is lol.

Ok here's my follow-up screenshot. I love the butter fig one. I think I was Warly trying to make fresh fruit crepes and thought fig would suffice instead of berries. Two carrots, twig and milky whites: trying to make steamed twigs for my beefalo on the go after defeating EoT early, ending up with wet goop instead.

Congrats on 10k days! I recently hit it in my world as well but forgot to share the screenshot. We launched all these flares after but it was hard to do at the same time so it looked more impressive before they all got launched.
