Wigfrid has always had a general specialization in combat rather than a direct one like Wolfgang. 

 

What more can you ask of her?

 

She has a unique weapon with a special attack that repairs itself, a unique weapon that has true-block, a higher damage multiplier than normal characters, the ability to heal sanity and health when attacking, the ability to buff the team and herself, a baked-in percentage of damage reduction which iirc works on every source in the game including temperature damage(not sure if hunger damage applies). She has a unique cheaper helm that she can easily produce, and a spear that she can make easily during the early game to circumvent that weapon barrier.

But Willow can spend a resource to cast a spell for 30 seconds that lets her do higher damage and that completely destroys Wigfrid's identity?


Also to the people replying ''what?'' if you are serious and not just joking, OP is asking for the skill that adds +5 planar defense to additionally add another 25% damage modifier so she can be 1.5x damage.

erm ackshuslly a second combat multiplier of 25% would make her have 56.25% damage

I'm just mimicking Wolfgang's argument that the skill tree has been strengthened, after all, there was a lot of people who said "Wolfgang should be better suited for fighting" at the time, and Wolfgang ended up being strengthened in the real sense of the word

Wigfrid was updated to be better suited for her role as well. She's not a ''more damage go brrr'' character, she has a little bit of everything combat related and her skill tree improved that aspect.

But Wigfrid is super combat centric already. She has a damage multiplier, damage reduction, hp regeneration, sanity regeneration, revival ability, crowd control abilities, character specific combat skills, knock back immunity, exclusive weaponry and armor, and various other combat based buffs. If she gets strengthened anymore I think she'll become a literal manifestation of the god of war!
