To this very day… Carrat is still the most interactive realistic pet the game has ever had, you could train it to improve its performance, it got sad when it failed to win a race, it could starve to death if not fed, and it could be attacked and killed.

so hands down Year of Carrat is my favorite Year of event so far..

But if Year of the Snake (coming soon..) adds new hostile snake mobs that may end up being my favorite. The game needs more “hostile” mob types & year of the snake seems like a perfect candidate to add some.

Where is winter feast option.

Well, it's not a "Year" event. Winters feast is a Christmas event a major 1 too, not a "year" event like i think it's on the chinse Calander or something where they have years for certain  animal, and kei bases that off with the dst animals (Could be wrong) which is what this poll is talking about.

(Poor year of the gobbler and varg, No votes)

I find all Year of the X events to be generally disappointing and an overall waste of time and effort from Klei and one monthly update less for us.

Whereas other events are updated every time Klei decides to touch them again, Chinese event is always a brand new chapter... and all of these chapters suck. Year of the Gobbler at least had the benefit of the novelty. Plus it was very non-intrusive, which is something that almost all other additions lack. With new year of the x events you always have to build something or go gather something and this is simply not enjoyable.

Imo seasonal events should be subtle, non-intrusive, like Winter's Feast and Hallowed Nights. And by that I mean that you can experience the event without having to diviate from your regular gameplay. If the player has to go out of their way to set the entire event up in their world then its not fun
