He gets 2 lunar alignment skills to compensate, and they're both really good.

Hmmmm didn't they say every character would be able to pick alignment based on player choice?

I get wormwood is a very friendly plant person but still seems like an odd choice.

I wonder if other characters and who will only have one alignment choice.

Very likely, Maxwell is pretty much confirmed based on his short to be team shadow all the way. His ability would have to be completely rewritten to make him thematically lunar aligned.

Wortox might also be purely shadow aligned, but I don't know about him. Wanda might as well.

Wormwood is like pure lunar being, it would be weird for him to be able to be shadow aligned. If you look at his triumphant skin it has the opposite effect and makes him completely rotted kind of like how it makes Maxwell a doofus.

The rest of the characters will probably have the choice between the two.

I agree thematically that certain characters make sense to only have one alignment I just very much remember them saying all characters would have a choice.

I know she harnesses shadow magic as a part of her entire identity but isn't she also basically constantly on the run from them?

Wortox not being from the constant kinda frees him from being forced to pick a side. Though I'd love if Kiel decided to be funmy and make joke alignments for him and Wes mime alignment and fool alignment respectively.

Arson alignment

(also I’m 99% sure that Wortox will have an option)

now the saladmander needs to have changes to make it more worth the trouble make tehm, just make them not be able to use de AOE fire abilit when wormwoods is in the range and make them stop using the abilit when the enemy hp is below a percent, in that way the saladmander will not burn your drops, and obviously make the I.A better ( i don't even need to say that, because this what you gona do, seing that the others followers got their I.A to work more like it's suppose of a suport follower)

It would be nice and coherent if the pillars which spawn in the caves and ruins also protect from earthquakes like the crafted ones.

So strange, there were only 2 fixes, are they doing something global or are they waiting for Thursday?

As someone who has been playing Wormwood for quite a long time, I can suggest the following improvements, which in my opinion would be a higher priority:
-Instead of understanding which plant will grow, do a quick planting of seeds in the beds.
-Instead of 2 growth acceleration skills, make one and give the other the opportunity to plant moon mushrooms, so that the last skill has more frequent use.
- If the bushes are a replacement, if there are none in the world, then you need to make one skill or the ability to choose which one you want.
-Add the ability to craft grass together with seedlings.
-The branch increases the range of the pollen, the friendly bees and the lord seem like nothing at all, running through a large field was never a problem.
-Instead of this branch, I would add something related to regeneration. For example, if wormwood is 100% wet, it slowly begins to regenerate health, various types of rot, guano, etc. regenerate more health.
-Creating recipes that require HP require less than this HP

The archive don't have earthquakes cause of it being well preserved, likewise the pillars in there are also stable & well preserved
The player-made pillars are brand new, meaning they're effective at their jobs

The flimsy rock pillars in the stony biomes in the caves aren't table, they're way too thin and we could assume a lot of them don't even actually reach the roof of the caves.
The weird flem-like pillars in the wilds don't look stable, i mean they literally look like they're made out of ewecus flem, i doubt those would prevent earthquake junk.

The pillars in the actual ruins are also likely in a state of disarray much like how the entirety of the ruins is, sure maybe one or two and still "stable" but imo it still makes sense that earthquakes still happen around all these places cause none of these pillars scream "safety" for me

kinda agree they dont really respond half the time to you are attacking or being hit. sometimes one does sometimes none do. the 50 over 30 + the fire damage is nice, but the option to summon them not hot would be cool too. also 90 hp and 3 dragonfruit for something u want to help u fight  isnt great in a pinch
