So I think it spawns nearby the luner island witch makes sense because they are themed around the moon and also because I have had 3 worlds in a row with the island near the moon island here’s a screenshot of the recent world I’m playing in. If anyone else gets worlds like this please do respond. Make a few purple staffs and teleport yourself, until you find yourself at lunar/monkey/perl islands. Evelo Posted September 29, 2022 Share Posted September 29, 2022 I've found no pattern of where the Moon Quay island spawns in all of my worlds. It is not guaranteed to be in a corner (I've had 5 worlds where it has spawned in the center edge or literal center of the map.) It is not guaranteed to be near any other ocean biome (had one connect to land with docks before) It is not in line with any land generation similar to Lunar Island (At least in my 40+ worlds) Maybe there is a thing and I just haven't discovered it yet but from what I have found, it is purely random in the ocean. The original way to find it was frequency of raids but since they got nerfed, finding it becomes such a chore. Spino43 Posted September 30, 2022 Share Posted September 30, 2022 The island spawns randomly, there's pretty much no indication as where it can be like lunar island/pearl/ crab king. You just have to sail until you randomly find it. Kinda sad since sailing aimlessly in an ocean full of sea stacks is incredibly boring to me. Though, they have a tendency to spawn near ocean edges, so sailing at edges should allow you to find it eventually. Only lunar island has a way to be found via land cutoffs and pearl via bottles. Monkeys? Hear the accordion sounds of war and apes screeching in the distance. ADM Posted September 30, 2022 Share Posted September 30, 2022 It's not related to the Moon Island sorry, there are basically only two indicators of this island location, the first one being the depth, stuff like Pearl Island, the Moon Quay, and even Crab King could generate anywhere from one side to another on the world but you will always find them at a certain kind of water tile so if you can recognize them this will actually be helpful to look around. However for the Moon Quay, the pirate raids themselves in also one way to detect it, if one ever happen it would mean the island is in the radius where they can start. I kind of enjoy that part of the game, even the FW tentacle search. Makes it much more rewarding when you find it early.
