Dear Klei, give us more stuff in space to do :) ...

I was think a space station is somewhat like a bigger module like the rocket module.   What would make this different than the asteroids is that it can be in orbit above the asteroid and it moves in an orbit every few cycles or cyclesit would move from tile to tile.  So your rockets can be stationed on there can do some refueling. Or rockets stuck in space can wait for a closer station to swing around.

The station can be constructed with suits so you can airlock out of the station and build around outside. It would be bigger allowing some interesting self sustaining stuff.   Klei can do all sorts of unique mechanics with this.    Possibly a real airlock this time. Docking ports for rocket refueling and resupplying.

Can be a orbital researching station. So you can do the research in space rather than having to do it on the tiny rocket and bring back the data banks.  Just do it in orbit.  And as the station moves around you can do telescope for bigger range.

Offers new creative challenges for designing various rooms and such in a limited space.

in my view allot construction stuff is way too cheap , you have allot materials but nothing todo with them

for factorio its more complicated , as you to need at there different machinery's for final result aka launch the rocket

True.  more advance stuff beyond  Steel needed for construction of stuff maybe  ?

I mean Steel is a bit difficulty to get still  but a new "tier" of stuff for the new space station modules probably would make it a new challenge to go about to explore the galaxy to acquire.

probably in they view off Space station is same like player can self build planet :)

we all know how it ends, num num fps :)

If they did the space station as another rocket module it wouldn`t hit the fps that much imo compared to having multiple rockets. Of course until you fill it with structures and pipes.

Seems a lot of players want more stuff to do in space, but I wish living in rockets was easier late game so I would even want to play using rockets. Easiest way to do so would be having more space in module capsules or allowing more than one living area modules per rocket. Hate having to do all the finnicky planning of what to build in there and how for maximum room bonuses while still making necessary areas accessible for a space mission the first time, not gonna enjoy doing it again.

Because of that, I want to avoid using rockets as much as possible, they are just that annoying to use since I can't fit a bedroom/barracks, great hall and washroom, at least not without hassle, the rooms just require way too much specific tile amount. If each room only needed to be 6 to 12 tiles in size or there was more space to use for the modules, it would be no problem. I love the more realistic approach in Spaced Out, but it gets annoying very quickly the way it's balanced right now. Maybe if room size requirements could be smaller and you could sort storage bins and not have oxylite either overpressure the room or have CO2 build-up without some other simple solution, then there would be no issues.

Make the DLC free for everyone and sell a million more copies of Oni :bee:

Thats not how it works. Majority of palyers buy the game in the first 3 months. New features are mostly for paylers who alraedy love (and have) ONI. Its unrealistic to expect to sell million copies just by updating the game.

i have envisioned some sort of deployable module package with rocket, require certain amount of materials, glass/steel ecc,

and after launched the rocket choose a certain location in the starmap and the whole package unfold in couple of cycle. maintime require Interplanetary Launcher to send material to the space station while it's automatically building itself. then its create a small asternoid size of map no bigger then the superconductive asteroid with building restrictions on top and bottom of the map with 2 solar panel aside and 3 empty big rooms in middle.

could be viable? this way we can have a middle stop point for rocket to refuel ecc.
