nimzowitsch10 Posted July 14, 2022 Share Posted July 14, 2022 Some of u may not have heard but wortox is getting a buff that will allow him to teleport anywhere on the map, and wicker is getting 10 more books, do you see this as balanced? I'm asking more so with wortox because I feel that buff is just crazy. pyroisshy Posted July 15, 2022 Share Posted July 15, 2022 Im baffled how Wortox was the character to recieve new insane mechanics when characters like Willow, Wormwood, Warly, and Woodie all need more attention than him. Woodie's problem is mainly just the full moon and While Willow can feel a bit underpowered I feel like she was in a better position than Wortox who's abilities were extremely early game focused. Willows main gimmick literally doesn't exist when engaging in any of the new lunar content and Woodie is basically unplayable during the moon storm event. Wortox's main downside is having to partially rely on souls for food while also balancing the sanity penalty from them. GelatinousCube Posted July 15, 2022 Share Posted July 15, 2022 100% support the Wortox changes and really like that Wanda isn't the only one who can teleport anywhere at will now. Lorewise it makes just as much if not more sense that Wortox can do this as well now. I actually really love Wortox I just hate him being a monster and every creature being racist/aggressive towards him... means I can't play him on my main long term world or my pig, bunnyman and catcoon farms/pens become a massive constant issue.. I have Houndius setup close to my Catcoon pen so if I walk too close instant dead Catcoons.. Certain other characters like Willow do need love as well and probably more so but hey with all these little changes to other characters we keep getting during reworks/updates they should eventually get some buffs/changes as well. If anything this is a good sign and shows that Klei want to continue to tweak, buff and update older characters in small ways alongside the remaining reworks. Complaining about extra content feels conterproductive.
