What to do in the late game as Wicker?

Hello fellow survivors!

I'm a pround Wortox main, however, everyone needs a bit of a change sometimes. For some reason, I'm very eager to play as Wickerbottom, but me and my friends have a very advanced 300 days world. I know how to play the character and feel like her upsides are found mostly on the early game, so I came here to ask rhe more experienced players:

What could I do with her to help me team? What are the benefits of having a Wicker when you have stability in your server?

PS: I don't need a tentacle trap in the world because we already have rabbits set up on the location. We also have 2 krampus sacks, so farming krampus isn't necessary anymore and we also have plenty of basic resources and ways of gathering food.

In P.S. you listed pretty much anything that Wickerbottom can do (make a tentacle arena, a krampus sack farm, farm twigs & grass & stuff and make quick food at garden), there's pretty much nothing among what you can do except charging WX mains with "The End is Nigh!". I'd recommend playing as Wanda if your team doesn't have one at that point.

You can farm twigs/grass/lichen/stone fruit bushes/reeds works best with reed trap easily with lureplants using the books, literal stacks of most boring resources to gather normally.

If you have a WX-78 on your team or if you are planning to switch to Wicker, you can ask someone on your team to be WX-78 and you can keep him charged permanently its too cheap.

There's not much more you can do if you aren't planning to use tentacles or farm for krampus sack.

Her tentacles are very early game, probably the fastest way to solo kill dragonfly/bee queen without any healing or any other resources needed while her other books allow her to be useful in the late game as i said, charging WX, farming resources.

In late game you probably have either bunnymen or catapults to replace tentacles for most boss setups.

Wicker is the best resource gatherer in the game, no one comes close to her output.

1. You can use Bunnymen to farm tentacle spikes, monster meat, tentacle spots and more, stop when they get overwhelmed and pick up all the loot when they go back home. You can also use deerclops.

2. You can instantly grown tier 1 birchnuts trees into tier 3 for very cheap, allowing you to farm trees quite easily using bearger.

3. You can farm spiders using on tentacles.

Unfortunately that is all.

Tentacles aren’t only useful in a bq trap you know. Their potential to farm mobs is only limited by ur imagination & ingenuity. Check this out: 

Aside from krampus sack farming, Birds of the world is also useful if you want to make a ton of blowdarts in combination with applied silviculture on reeds. 

Aside from basic resources, applied silviculture can also be used to spawn treeguards by growing trees to their ‘dead’ stage and quickly 1 shotting them. Even better if woodie is doing the 1 shotting with Lucy. These treeguards can then be killed for LLs or made to fight bosses like toadstool or klaus. 

horticulture Abridged isn’t only for growing food but can also grow rocks with stone fruit bushes. 

none of Wicker’s books are 1 dimensional, the fun is in figuring out their non-obvious applications. 

In an advanced world like u described where everything is already taken care of the choice of character should come down to whichever one u find the most fun. Since very few perks will matter if u already have everything.

That's quite true, tentacles have many uses and are better for farming some bosses even in late game. 

The reason i enjoy playing Wicker is like you said none of her books are simple and considering how many possibilities she has over other characters, it just made me want to play her the most.

Plus Wicker's ability to farm resources is never useless, as long as you want to play on a world, you'll need grass/twigs/reeds/stone fruit bushes.

Worth noting is that stone fruit bushes are really overpowered, with 1 gunpowder you can open as many as you want and its the best vegetable for crockpot to farm in late game while also giving endless supply of stone. You just need to drop 10 at a time so that gunpowder will burst them open.

The only thing you said that i disagree with you is that any character in late game is good. Before Wanda was released it was okay to play any character in the late game, now there is mostly no reason to. In my current world i have 20 backtrek watches, i can literally be anywhere on the map or in caves at the click of a button. There's nothing other characters have that is comparable.

You can make a splumonkey farm and just put meat effigies everywhere for no reason. It sounds like there's nothing left to do except make things.

Set your server back to Winter's Feast, make some decorated trees and regularly sleep under them as Wicker to get gifts by taking drugs - all you need to do is eat 2 moonshrooms in a row every time.
