Male_zvire
Hey all, here is my idea about new pest critter for game: rats or something similar. Small, very fast critter, hard to kill (because speed), can climb ladders & walls (except metal tiles). Looking for free lying food. Then eat this food. With rich source of food, population of this critters grow fast. It can spread diseases...
pether
Nice idea, but it has a flaw: It would be more annoying than challenging to fight those. Or you could just kill them on sight before they can run away. In the end, they wouldn't add anything fun to the game - everytime a player saw one they would be like "oh no, those again, ok, lets kill them". You wouldn't see them more than sporechids. Also, if they run fast and spread disease, the germs wouldn't have enough time to thrive in a tile and most probably they would be killed by other germs fast (flower pollen). Idea to have germ-spreading pest is nice, but it needs some more polish to be good

Would work great as a rat trap (if it didn`t require plastic). I think we could use a trash biome inhabitated by morbs and rats. It would be full of germs but have some useful stuff. Like maybe plastic waste, that would basically be minable plastic looking like compressed plastic bags(low mass tiles), aluminium and lots of organic waste (polluted dirt). Rats would be roaming around and be hidden in the tiles. Mining such a biome would provide unique challanges to keep your dupes from getting sick and the critters(pests) from getting out. babba
Rats and Turtles would be awesome in the game Would be superb if we could have some free-roaming critters which also use the dupes entertainment facilities...like playing drums or using the wind tunnel as examples. Alternative to the new proposed rat burger: Hamberder ( may contain traces of rat, due to machine processing residue )
