Ok, theoretically, we could find out the DS creatures height

Recommended Posts

We've all seen the image of deerclops in Terraria, but what this means is that we can tell the height of everything in Don't Starve now.

The video is a little too detailed to get a good height, but I'd say 10-15 blocks

Each Terraria block is 2ft by 2ft, so, using the height of deerclops, we can compare her to everything else in the constant, and we can finally figure out how big everyone's favorite hulking beasts are.

so characters are 6 ft tall? cuz terrarians are 3 blocks in height, and 1.82 meters is quite a lot

and that also means that characters can jump almost 4 meters in height

While roaring he is 10 blocks tall, with his horns going up another 2.5 blocks. His head is 76 pixels tall while his torso is 127 pixels and arms are 57 pixels, which doesn't match up with DS' ratios of 132 to 198 & 120. Therefore we can conclude that this is an impostor.

Blah blah blah, something about their height being 10 feet. Blah blah number, blah blah objection, more numbers, stay with me we are at the important part. Therefore we can conclude that this is an impostor.

Oh no... do you know what you have done?

block measurements

Ugh.

I saw this thread and it could not leave my mind.

Just opened photoshop. According to the terraria-deerclops measurement, Wilson is around ~5'3, hair and all.

However, this is very concerning news.

Because of this measurement, it means that the Maxwell NPC, from Don't Starve, is a towering ~9'0, weird brown finger and all. (If anyone still gets that joke.)

This poses an interesting conundrum, because the characters in the constant are, without a doubt, much shorter than the characters in the real world.

That means that the people in the real world are terrifyingly tall, but also that webber's short comparing a constant spider to him probably means that he and his family are shorter than average by quite a bit.

or maybe maxwell showed himself that tall because of his corrupted mind and ego..

Personally I like to think that, while imbued with the throne's power, Maxwell gave himself Shadow Stilts.
