What is the moderation on these? Is there any way to report racism and abuse of v2k? It's definitely out of the ordinary. No way to report players for any reason that I'm aware of. Chaos has it's own fun, but racism isn't fun for anyone. A filter would be welcome. I have been sworn at for not telling "where base is" (and must say, the most interesting curse words I've read in KLei official servers were "your father is your uncle" - found it hilarious and remembered many years after, but that's a story for another day). Am curious where you were playing, OP, what region? Still, like griefing, don't believe KLei will take any action: their pubs are most-of-times pure madness, 0 moderation. If they didn't care about Clouds and his bots/sock accounts who plagued EU region for years with massive fire giefing, doubt some mean words would matter. My advice: gloss over. Happens. Better yet: is a clear indicator that pub session wasn't going to be a fun experience anyway. Getting serious again, this sounds like a no-go, official servers should have a filter for slurs and common insults - on the other hand I can understand that it could become an issue, if you put some words into the filter, but forget others - you don't want to be accused of deliberately allowing certain slurs, when you really just happen to forget something. In this case it might be safer for the hosts to just put an "internet on your own risk"-label onto it. On the servers I normally play on, you can't even say "I'm an idiot" (which I type quite a lot, apparently), I'd recommend the Don't Fight Together servers once again. Language filter, griefer protection, stable performance, 10-12 slots and you can always call a mod in if something happens. The inexplicable racism caught me off guard as I hadn't even said anything. After this thread I assume it was just some asshat and his friends deciding to troll the server so w/e. Not a big deal to me. I usually play solo or with friends on my own world so its not a big hinderance. I only go to pubs when I want to do something early game, with lag, or player / resource competition. I joined the world in the midst of a heated conversation between two people with very different world views.
