Giving a Bird crop seeds for a regular seeds.

Recommended Posts

There are no reliable ways to get good amount of regular seeds except by trading with Merm King, so i like to suggest a little mechanic that will turn your crop seeds into a regular seeds via birdcage. Maybe even with 30% rate. What do you think?

Bird will still give you guano for feeding it regular seeds.

That could be a problem if you want to get the seeds for a specific crop, especially in early game.

For example you plant a regular seed and get only the crop for the high stress, now you have to rely on RNG for it to drop the seed of the crop, and if not you'll have to plant more seeds in hope for the crop appear again.

I think you need to re-read the first post.

What happens to getting Guano from feeding seeds to the bird though? I don't know if random seeds are so important to garner the need of a way to mechanize the process of obtaining them, they are already common enough to quickly collect a stack of. And their very common but limited nature adds a nice challenge to do prior planning or not neglecting.

Guano already only has a 33% chance, so there's no need to cut into its chances. Instead of 66% nothing, 33% guano, it would be 33% nothing, 33% guano, 33% generic seed.

I'm just not sure I'd want to eat seeds that were pooped out by a bird...
