Funko Pops

Recommended Posts

I'm mainly writing this from frustration after my 6th failed attempt to get the figures. Let the rant begin...

Spoiler

I'm not from US or Canada or any big country, but Klei puts an ad for the vinyl figures in both games and they just taunt me every time I want to play the game.

I would love to have more DS merch. My friends somehow hunted down a Webber funko for me and I adore him. I constantly keep in mind to save some money for the Klei Store restock where i plan to bulk buy everything I want the moment it becomes available (so I don't have to pay for delivery every time I want one of the items).

But in this entire situation funko is (I swear) making fun of me. It dissapeared from stores in my country and after contacting them they claim "they're trying to get them", the delivery cost from amazon is WHOOPING 55 DOLLARS (+ 45 $ import fees) and any other store either doesn't have them or has only one- two at max.

And I would absolutely love to have more of them. If there was a way to get all of the game characters (just imagine... Blooming Wormwood standing on your shelf...) but with how hard it is to get even the original 4, I'm scared that on the slim chance it would happen, I wouldn't be able to collect them all.

Don't even get me started on all of my friends who also want them but are simply too tired of looking to try over and over again like I do.

rant over I guess... Do you know of any stores that have them available for price that won't put me in debt?

Wow, I'm amazed that your country even had them in the first place. I had checked five different countries and couldn't find it in any physical stores. But I dissagree with your rant as far as my experience with them goes. In my opinion funko pops have been the most available merchandise Klei ever created (or rather allowed the creation of) for Don't Starve. I have all the funkos because I just ordered them through Amazon, you should do that too if you want them, even getting all of them at once should be cheaper than buying a single merchandise from Klei's store, I don't know why you were charged such a high delivery cost. If you live in Europe you should order from the UK amazon I linked or from the german one if they have them. They should have localized branches for Africa and Asia too. Not sure why they also come with such import fees for you, my country puts import fees on everything over 20$ but none of the funkos were stopped on the customs since they are all around 9-15 dollars prize range. In contrast, if I were to buy anything from Klei store, I'd pay a very high prize for the product (49$ for a chester plush + delivery costs from the western edge of the planet, Seattle, US). It's understandable because Klei is a video gaming company, not a toy company so they can't manifucture toys en masse and make free shipping deals but at least for my convenience, them licensing Funko Toys to produce the DST funko pops that I was able to buy through amazon for an acceptable price realy made me happy.

Thanks for responding- I'm whining mostly because I'm a baby. It's difficult to find what I often need and I spent an hour on amazon before i posted this trying to figure out how to buy them. Then comes the difference in money value- I thought i was prepared for it, but it seems I was wrong.

Thanks again for responding and cooling my head a little. Can't believe I still haven't grown out of throwing mindless tantrums.

I just checked everything you told me and I cannot believe my own stupidity.

But I guess embarrassing myself online was worth it if I just placed my order and paid about half of what I thought I'd be paying...

Thank you, really.

Can't believe how stupid I can be and then turn aound and say it's someone else's fault.

I'm really sorry, if this topic can be deleted or archived, I would be very grateful.

I bought one in person shortly after they were released, but they've been nowhere to be found in those stores since approximately January 2019 (not that I'd recommend going to physical stores right now if it can be avoided, since... y'know). This April I bought a second Wilson funko with the idea that I'd customise it, but that was through Amazon, and since I live in Canada the shipping fees were a bit higher than the States but not the ruinous $55 shipping + $45 import fee you mentioned.

Possibly you could try eBay?

edit: wait, I didn't read closely enough, looks like you found a more local branch of Amazon than Amazon US to order from :wilson_vforvictory:
