Pips can be used to plant wild Pincha Pepper plants

Recommended Posts

I cant believe this actually worked. All you need is to confine the pips into an area with a plantable tile and enough room to grow.  pre-planning is important for this to work but it is possible. But just like all other plants in the game you can use seeds to grow wild versions which require no resources for upkeep (though they take longer to grow). I like to use storage containers (refrigerators for sleet wheat) and set them to 1kg and sweep only, then I select the seed I want. Once all the containers have a seed I deconstruct the containers and drop the seeds. Be sure you dont have any other storage containers set to that seed though otherwise dupes will pick them back up.

This changes everything!!

One of the achievements is something like 400,000 kcal of food without planting anything in planter boxes, farm or hydroponic tiles. I must have that achievement !

"Building" natural blocks (without sandbox) when?

Shove voles already do that. They will just consume half of the dirt but the other half will become a tile. Forcing them to make the tile where you want it is quite of a challenge but i think it`s possible.
