Wakerra
So I was exploring the BIG lunar island last night when the re-occuring hounds starting crying. I wasn't expecting them to show up on the island, since they don't spawn while you sail, but they did. Eventually the island natives took care of them, but something FREAKY happened to one of them! I see this hound corpse start moving a little, and i just shrugged it off to game glitches moving objects around, but no. No, this thing jumps and then stretches and A FREAKING MONSTROUS HOUND SKELETON RIPS OUT AND STARTS ATTACKING EVERYTHING!! Now this happened right next to an acitve bath-bombed hot spring, so i don't know if that has anything to do with it or not, but this got me wondering: what other non-native animals/monsters could this happen to? Has anyone ferried over Beefalo, or spawned a Giant on the island? Is this just a Hounds thing, or does this island alter other animals? Can it alter passive animals like rabbits? Let me know what you find!
Zeklo
Nothing to do with the Bathbombs. It's a 50% chance to happen to normal hounds on death. The corpses can be burned before then. Pengulls will spawn on the island mutated as well during Winter.

I wonder if anything else can mutate if left there/killed?

The only one to actually, change upon death would be the Hounds.

Fill-Lips
I was thinking for of crystal-like dart birds, cos birds are mostly used for darts, so... Crystal birds that when landing, just freakin shoot downwards, like meteors.
