M.C.
What is the minimum distance between the top of the map and a space scanner? My scanners sit right under the row of bunker doors built at the very top edge of the map, and my scan quality is lousy. I seem to remember I should have left more free room above my scanners, but I can't locate the page that said that anymore. Christophlette
Is it the one you are talking about? There is not the information you search but you can calculate it using the screenshot in the first post. It should be 15 or 16 tiles from the base of the scanner to work at 100% Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103080-space-scanner-mehanics/#findComment-1157399 Share on other sites
M.C.
Quote To keep every Meteor Scanner works in 100% dish quality, the scanner should be 15 tiles away from the closest heavy machinery and have a 31 tile-wide skyline (In the second photo, all the window tiles and the scanner itself should be able to receive solar light). That's all the page says. I have solar panels (that count as heavy machinery) a bit too close, but even if I deconstruct them, my scan quality is still around 45%. The nearest scanner is 18 tiles away. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103080-space-scanner-mehanics/#findComment-1157401 Share on other sites
Christophlette
I was talking about this picture. All the glass tiles must see the light and must not be in the red stripped zone.
