nets Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 Been playing on a fairly stable base the last 2700+ cycles, tried my best to keep it running 20+ fps (speed 2 >>) on QoL1 but in busy areas it was down to 14 fps and only peaked at 24 in quiet areas, with almost no gas. Downloaded QoL2 and now that same save runs peaks at 32 and only occasionally hits a low of 20 but averages around 25 FPS (+-1). The save runs very smooth again! I don't know how much debugging you removed, or if I'm going to see any additional improvement once QoL2 is out of Development build, this was more than i expected -- though I still hope for more. Maybe they should add a loading screen indicator with % loaded indication. probably more trouble than it's worth, but it's a thing for worldgen.
