      UPDATED - Studio Note & Rhymes with Play Streams Temporarily Canceled.   03/06/2020

      UPDATE (3/19/20): Just a quick note regarding the team at Klei Entertainment. As noted previously, everybody at Klei Entertainment is working from home due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Many of us have been working especially hard to help maintain operations as we all move out of the office and into our homes and with everything being done online, extra time must be spent in organizing conversations and trying to maintain communication. As some of you may know, we have a very open office and we are almost always in contact with each other as we go about our days. Some of us work across multiple teams and that work has become a bit more challenging for everybody.   That being said, at this time the transition has not caused any major disruption in our operations, but it would be overly optimistic to expect that we won't have any delays at all. We're going to have to be especially mindful about this in the coming weeks and make sure we don't take on too much work so we can keep things running smoothly.  We will let you know as we see how these changes affect our timelines.  Thanks UPDATE (3/10/20):
      The test yesterday went well. We got the whole office (mostly) to work from home without significant issue. As a result, Klei Staff that can work from home have been asked to do so until further notice.  This means that we will have to cancel the Rhymes with Play stream until we are all back in the office. This shouldn't affect anything else at least in the short term, but if things change I will update you all here.  Original Post: Hey everybody,  This Tuesday March 10th, 2020 the entire staff at Klei will be working remotely for 1 day in an effort to prepare the studio to work remotely for a little while if the need arises.  Klei is already set up pretty well to allow for working remotely, however we are going to have a one day "dry run" with the whole studio so that we can identify and avoid any issues or downtime that may arise should choose to implement a work from home policy due to COVID-19 outbreak concerns. Unfortunately this does mean that we will be canceling the “Rhymes with Play” Art stream this coming Tuesday, however unless the situation changes we expect everything at the studio to be back to normal Wednesday and we’ll continue our regular stream schedule Thursday March 12th. If the situation changes at all, we'll let you know. Thanks for your understanding.

  1. Temperature of the ladder keeps on increasing even when made of insulation
  2. Saw 2 issues. Not sure if they are intended or are bugs. 1. The Clearance toggle works in reverse - ie, when it shows "Clearance - Always" it actually prevents dupes from entering unless there's an appropriate dock for the suit and vice versa for "Clearance - Vacancy" 2. Automation is not working on the exosuit and jetsuit docks - when connected to a Red signal, dupes are still using the docks as usual. In the attached image, you can see a dupe using the suit (at the center left of the image) even when the signal is red. PS: Game lag is terrible - changed all dupe's suits to jetsuits and the game is barely giving 2FPS at fast speed!!!! Please do something to fix it!!!!!!!!!!! Memory usage is crossing 4.5GB for ONI alone. I've attached the safe file for checking what's the issue in it. A couple of mods are enabled here BTW Radical Pigpen.sav

  4. Wheeze Worts are consuming gas! I filled a fully sealed room with 2kg oxygen. It became vacuum in minutes!!! Then i filled the room with Hydrogen (25KG). Its became 16kg in 10 cycles. This is a major bug!!!
  5. Hey ipsquiggle ... that's really not the case - the dupes wouldn't do anything and will keep on calling critters to come. But the problem was that the critters wouldn't come (coz of no grooming station?) and they end up doing this for the whole day I'm afraid I've long since moved past this save file - faced the 5fps situation and had to start over. But this is the exact scenario for the bug- 1. the entry for the stable room will be from top, where dupes enter in exosuits the ranch is for phosporite - drekos will be in a stable with balm lily flowers in a chlorine atmosphere. The room size will be around 72 tiles. 2. Have the grooming station in the location where the critter dropoff is currently seen in the attached picture. One farm tile would be occupied by the station. The 2 sets of plastic tiles and one column of fire pole will still be there. 3. Bring in dreckos/add them from sandbox. 4. Let the grooming happen for 100+ cycles (not sure if this is required to be done this long for the bug to surface) 5. On one fine cycle, deconstruct the grooming station and replace it with a critter dropoff (there was a critter dropoff in the middle of that 72 tile room, which was removed and newly constructed at the location seen in the pic). The important thing is to make the room open now - so they'll not be classified as a room anymore, but will have critter dropoff nevertheless. You'll find that the dupes will repeatedly try to ranch critters, but will not be able to do so and will be stuck in a loop every cycle I actually had 3 rows of such stations cascaded one below the other - so if you look closely at the top of the screenshot, you'll find Ellie and Camillie also trying to groom critters and are stuck in the loop (along with 2 others on the row above, but not seen here). Moreover, when removing the tiles to make it 'not a room', the whole area would have been still enclosed with insulated tiles with door at the top center.

  7. Game is barely giving 5fps. This is on a decent machine with 4 cores (i5 6600 non-k) + GTX 1060 6GB + 16GB RAM. Attaching game file here. (Had used sandbox mode for a couple of things) Think everybody expects a good deal of stability and smoothness in a game which is out of Early Access ... just my 2 cents Super Pit.sav
  8. Tempshift Plates are not working in space. below is the construction. The miner keeps heating up. there are 4 plates total here -> 2 are below the 2 visible tempshift plates
  9. Hey There: This is a graphical bug so please read carefully. This is the bug: The pipes are shown as if the water is flowing 2 parts to the right pipe path and one to the left. But in the next tick (ie, when the next water blob comes in from the top), one blob of water magically vanishes in the right path and shows as if the water is split evenly (ie, 1:1 now as opposed to 1:2 splitup shown in above pic) Attached save file for easier understanding.   10. Hey Devs, Dupes are oversleeping when the player gives too many sleep slots in the time schedule. Please wake up dupes when their stamina and/or health (+ other modifiers if any for sleeping) is maxed out. I'm seeing dupes oversleeping even though 100% stamina is reached. Before anybody feels this is intended and that the player should manage this, the dupes oversleep if their required 100% stamina isn't reached - I gave just 1 sleep slot for the dupes in the work schedule and they overslept for 1 more slot to make their stamina 100%.
  11. T junction Pipes are showing water flow wrongly

    Yup... this is just a graphics bug here. Since the junction's arms are quite long, the actual water is split evenly eventually after the 2 pipe parts. I'll try giving vents immediately after the T junction to verify this.

    Any reason why this is being done like this? We can easily solve space leakage by having the option to place dry walls behind walls.
  14. Mesh tile is placeable when there's a drywall in the back. If its a tempshift plate, Mesh tile isn't placeable. Not entirely sure if this is a bug or not, but this is needed for constructing bases in the surface. Drywalls doesn't conduct heat as well as these plates do
  15. @Brook : Another problem here is when we deconstruct tiles. In space, we lose a lot of oxygen by the time the walls/drywalls are constructed back in its place. We definitely need the option to construct drywalls/tempshift plates behind walls and other buildings! Please bring back the option to build drywalls/tempshift plates behind walls!!!!

  17. Yup. Same bug here. They are peeing when bladder is full and are not going to the toilet at all. They die when the calories drop to zero and they dont go to have food. @Ipsquiggle this is a critical bug - please fix ASAP!
  18. Facing this in latest build. Autosweepers picking p 11g of the solid and delivering it to the booster. Think the booster is requesting for it continuously
  19. Hey ... that's not what I meant ... @Brook walls should be placeable even if there's a drywall/tempshift wall in the background. We'll have to modify buildings/rooms in the surface. Current change will make us lose a lot of oxygen to space when we deconstruct tiles to put drywalls. I don't have the save file now. But this scenario is easily reproducible so I don't think you'll have a problem in checking it out.

    What does atlas overflow mean? Something like memory overflow?
  21. Hi, Rocket is showing the below ports after launching it into space. Attached savefile. Please note that when I tried to destroy it using debug mode, it destroyed something (maybe the command capsule?) and the astronaut appeared out of nowhere. This occurred after the rocket is launched into space! Tragic Supernova.sav
  22. When we try to swap technologies (I cleared the currently researching tech and choose it again), the virtual planetarium loses its graphics and shows as if its idle. The dupe freezes over in the building. Also, in the image, the nearby virtual planetarium also had sufficient databanks to work with + appropriate dupe was free too. It was never used previously (also a bug). But when the first building froze over, the second building is now being used Added savefile too Tragic Supernova.sav
