Xadhoom
How you do prevent some wildlife to go extinct? for example, i seem to not get any more squirrels. i have chopped down some trees they were living in, but not all, i also placed new ones around the trees they lived in, they only spawn in the ones that was originally created on map? they don't migrate to other trees? or spawn in other trees you planted. also, spider monkeys, i have lots of cocooned trees in one part of the jungle, but only around 1 of them are there still spider monkeys, the rest seem to have been wiped out by the hoard of beetles that spawn in 2nd season. and on 2nd year i see no indication that they repopulate. Spaartan
For the spider monkeys, they will keep on res pawning as long as their tree is up. Squirrels idk how to fix
metallichydra
pikos only spawn from piko nests (some of the tea trees at the start of the game will be piko nests), which is non-renewable, so once chopped down, there's no way of getting back the piko nest
Hx380
For pogs... You don't. Just kill them so that they won't kill you during the aporkalypse
metallichydra
spidermonkeys : kill everything else, especially rapid beetles and snaptooths
-Variant
Spider Monkeys don't respawn, they reproduce, it doesn't matter if they have cocoon trees or not, the cocoons are there just for them to mark their territory, if you chop them, they'll simply cocoon a new tree. (Making silk renewable.) As long as there's 1 or 2 Spiders monkeys alive, they should reproduce if close enough, and more will bloom into the world. Cute little babies, they are. Pikos I've got no clue, sorry. And the Roc should help you with Dung Beetles, if you wipe them out.
metallichydra
i think snaptooth's can go extinct too, but usually they dont, instead they make other species go extinct. hippotatomooses, can they go extinct? do they need to reproduce? i guess, just dont kill them if there Arent many left. sheepsuen
The snaptooths have been killing quite a lot of spider monkeys in my world. Even though I choose "less" for snaptooths when I generate a world, there seem to be too many of them that kill off other mobs. I wonder if the snaptooths reproduce like the spider monkeys, or if they just spawn at regular intervals.

TheMetalMan
Considering how almost everything has a tendency to catch fire, From lightning, to Pig Guards, to Iron Hulks and the Herlad, there should be a world regeneration thing going or you're going to end up with an empty game at SOME point. Yeah, I died, because I wasn't patient enough to go get another security contract and hire another guard.
