Terraria was released on May 6th, 2011 for PC. Minecraft was in the classic, indev, infdev, alpha, and beta stages up to October 7th, 2011 when the game was released officially. So in short, Minecraft was released after Terraria But Minecraft was technically "announced" since 2009 since it was in development since then. Problem is, there are a BUNCH of humourous/silly adventure games out there, and I'm not sure which ones were directly meant as a parody of Zork? or just happened to be in that genre and silly.
