withers
These could be just a low tech pole with a hook. When a dupe walks past them one direction, he grab the coat. When that dupes walks past it in the other direction, he returns the coat. Place them in traffic going into cold biomes.

Daxterr
Honestly I'd say this is almost necessary in order to make the cool/warm clothes relevant. I'd like to see a poll on how many people have ever used the cool/ warm clothes. I know that I haven't.
Sasza22
I`m pretty sure they will adress the clothes in the next upgrade. It`s the most clunky system in the game and they didn`t touch it since it was implemented. Definetly needs attention. Hangers might just do the trick in terms of funcionallity but what about the benefits the clothes give? What does the insulation thickness stat even do? impyre
it increases/decreases the rate at which they lose body heat. This basically shifts the temperature range at which they are comfortable.
babba
What about coat hangers for wet critters? The coat hanger machine manufactures hangers from wood and iron, the wet critter can be dropped off at the hanger and gets tucked away on to the hanger to dry ( like too wet Klei, which can be dehumidified and then used to form vase`s at the right moisture ). This prevents that that the cute critter which just now got wet... ...turns in to the evil critter ! Simples. This was a winning formula from St.Sp. @Oozinator

This was a winning formula from St.Sp. @Oozinator +3 When we get ingame pumpguns, shells loaded with rusty nails, then yes. It would be important for the player to take manual control of armed dupes, because they could be harmed by friendly fire and then we are back to my great wheelchair (with box wheels) idea. For now, i would be happy to drip some acid onto my lazy dupes, perhaps they could then mutate in something evil, like cash or similar, but at first their flesh should peel off their bones.. Optional chlorine could have similar impact like the acid. Perhaps dupes turn into nazi zombies, when breathing chlorine?
cpy
I thought we'd already have this with suits but ofund out that you have to swap them by hand which is boring and they ignore clothes sometimes.

If clays game allows friendly fire and rusty nail projectiles, then the bullet tips should be coated with noice anchovy juice before being loaded and fired. Anchovies will make the bullets more cute and smell better, so on impact the dupe only performs a little flexed movement, like too heavy flatulence, so it's doesn't hurt... Its just bloated. Wheelchairs with square wooden wheels... Mmh, that could be a another good idea. The oOzie idea of dupes on stilts to coss chlorine basins, to prevent flesh corrosion and oxidation, is still one of the best ideas around IMHO. I need to check with my commuter about it. Pat4yczek
Hangers with checkpoint will be useful, only access for dup's depends of how many hangers are, Should work with no clothes too.

Also had that idea. Should be like exosuit checkpoint. Only here, it is just a checkpoint with coats and the directional arrow.
