The dupes' AI need some improvement

A friend shared his story today, he was building things to utilize that metal volcano, but as you can see in that screenshot, dupes are building things and going to bury themselves. 

I had some similar experience, when I try to build a bridge with ladder to other side of a water pond to get something, or build a ladder for some coals on ceiling or underground, and when I ordered to recycle the ladder, dupes might remove them from the middle, cause other dupes trapped on the remaining ladder or stay in that pit.

I can give order manually to avoid, but it is annoying sometimes. 

I had two researchers, and I have one exit for exosuits only. I digged to other side of that exit, and find a cool steam geyser, I ordered an exosuit for one of my researcher and hope he could do the investigation on that geyser. (both my researchers are on the highest priority for research) However, the researcher that didn't assigned to the exosuit move to the geyser directly when I was managing my power station, and I got the alert that she was scalded badly, the exosuit was there untouched by the first researcher, who was still doing the research task.

Yeah, I know this is a mircomanagement game, but still the AI should get some improvement, and I think we be able to give dupes direct order for something, and that would give them some quailty-of-life improvement.

Well yeah dupes build orders are sometimes weird so building stuff in tight areas can get them stuck or even entombed. After a bit of playing i`m just using "idiotproof" building methods. Making sure they can only build something that won`t make them stuck, keeping trach of every path they can take so they don`t go around the exosuit docks. Locking areas of the map where they might get scalded or catch slimelung.

I i was building under the volcano like that i`d set the blocks in the middle to higher priority so they do them first or even not order the whole thing untill the middle is done.

Still sometimes my dupes do really dumb stuff and i need to free them from walls. Especially if more than one is building the same thing.

I`ve given up on dropping a "already suggested" in every thread like that. It does nothing, new players keep comming and posting the same suggestions. I try to be polite and show how i deal with the issue instead.

This is called 'The Cask of Amontilado' feature. :D

Seriously, this bothered me at first as I thought it was an AI issue. After playing more games I am beginning to think this is a game feature. You have to be careful or you will lose valuable miners and architects in seemingly stupid situations.
