While I agree with some things that have been said, I think the OK hand sign criticism is not very relevant here and that the situation was blown out of proportion. The meme falls flat because colonies aren't actually harder to manage than before. It comes across as supporting the notion that morale was not a worthy mechanic to implement and, also, conveying the dumb idea that women care only about the socializing parts of the game, therefore being responsible for it's presumed decrease in quality. I found it rude and unfunny, that's all.
