I'm simply not sure if it's fair to leave a possibility of purchasing the skins of a limited time event forever... Klei wants to bring back the events. They don't want them to be limited. There is nothing unfair about it. If they're there forever then by definition they aren't limited. Don't be greedy. Let other people have the chance to pickup these neat items. And before someone tries to make the argument about loyals, those are specifically designed to be limited and another topic entirely. Yes Is it unfair to us who have them that the rare items that they will become avaiable as a DLC for everyone? The reason why Forge skins aren't available is because at the time they didn't use steam DLC. The addition of handling the skin packs through steam were to allow the gifting of the skins. Since this wasn't possible during the Forge and was a requested feature. If the Forge comes around again, they'll likely add it in this same way. I am also sure that they could add a DLC for Forge items anytime they want, it's THIER game and I sure bet they can do anything they want with it. I have nothing against bringing The event Back. The Skins Would be available during them, that's forgivable. I simply don't like The idea of them being available Forever, purchasable anytime you want. Because they didn't come up with the method of using DLC for the skin packs until later. Something people complained about with the Forge and Winter's Feast skin packs was that you couldn't buy them as a gift for others. Adding them as a DLC lets you gift the skins packs. Perosnally I don't really mind if these event items are time-limited or not, but what I would like to have is actually to know whether they are limited or not. It would be kind if Klei would tell us how long the Gorge skins remain weaveable (if not forever). At the beginning (Forge, Winter's Feast) they were pretty much time limited and if Klei changed their mind upon that, it would be fair to let us know it. With The Forge they temporarily left them purchasable to give People a bit more time to finish their collections, All I want is The same situation in this case aswell.
