I know that Klei are usually careful when saying anything about future plans, but I would have assumed that they have some idea at least for the next event and that they would be working on it. I know, it's more than logical that there would be a 3rd event (like, seriously, who would call 2 events a series?), but I got really surprised that the devs had no exact plans. Good to know that they're working on the next event tho! They escaped The Forge realm and left it behind, and so they did with The Gorge realm. NEXT event will most likely be happening in some ANOTHER kind of realm. Where was this stated? As to my best knowledge, the Forge "might return" at some "later point", but I don't know about any confirmation on if and when it would return. axxel Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Hey I think Klei sated they "try" to release The Forge on consoles. If they have trouble they either don't state anything about it or confirm they don't succeed. With The Gorge it was their first chance to see how well a live event would do on consoles. Also, so far, we had Winter's Feast, Year of the X and Hallowed Nights every year after their release. The Forge might come back because to give new players a chance to get some special skins and items, too. I'd say the most likely scenario is that Forge/Gorge will become occasionally recurring events like the seasonal ones (probably not until after the event trio is completed), and we'll also get a continuation event.  ...all my other speculation aside including the unending ramblings elsewhere about more, I think that the next event will be the last of this type, at least. The lines about the Gorge implied some impending finality, and it's hard to see either the survivors or Charlie being willing to keep up this charade for long. I was just pointing out that it's as much speculation as these events being continued was before the confirmation, since he was being insistent about it. Not that it's unlikely. See "The Forge is Now Live on Steam) and they couldn't implement some improvement changes in time. It was confirmed by JoeW on the Discord server during the time everyone was wanting the Beta for the Gorge,i'm pretty sure. As..I Was there. the Forge is coming back, and it will be re-made, We don't know when or how though.
